Re: she keeps running out the door

Ah i see :]

That must be horrible, we live near a few main roads and i fear my cats even being outside too long. Haha, my dogs loose would be a disaster.

Re: When all else fails.....what do we do?

Thank you for trying to help though :) I am mostly dissapointed in the fact that he wasn't born aggressive, dog's never really are, and he wasn't aggressive as in he would attack everything he saw, when i got him he attacked through fear, now he fears nothing. He is fine around people and now fine a...

Re: Breaking up a fight with 2 or 3 dogs

Adding to that too, some are as cautious as can be, and just because something has not happened yet doesn't mean they should assume they have COMPLETE control over their dog, as that isn't always true, things can go wrong even in the most controlled places :) I've seen and had it happen, not always ...

Re:

Has anyone had any experience with a Newtrix head halter? I'm just curious because I have heard from a few people that they far prefer it to a Halti or Gentle Leader. yes! i have one of these for maggie and i REALLY prefer it over the GL/halti. Reason being, it doesn't pull her head around from the...

Re: When all else fails.....what do we do?

Can you find out also what the responsibilities are of the dog warden as required by law and file a complaint if the dog warden you've been dealing with has not addressed the situation of the attack properly? (forgot to comment on that part).... From what i am told the dog warden can not do anythin...

Re: When all else fails.....what do we do?

Sorry i probably should have posted more clearly, i seem to have made a few people misunderstand me. My mistake. The dogs sleep indoors in seperate areas during the night, they stay indoors at all times unless going out to the toilet. And when i am out they also stay inside, for my chains being cut ...

Re: When all else fails.....what do we do?

Basically he only attacks dogs in our street, and only when the owners of those dogs tell their dog to attack him, or when those owners 'attack' him personally. This has happened twice only, both times mentioned. Right now he has absolutely no chance of attacking another animal, but that doesn't mea...

When all else fails.....what do we do?

I apologise now for this being so long....i'll try make it interesting, not too dramatic, but i warn you now you may not like what you read, every story has two sides and this is mine. I've said before that i am not one for talking much, but when i do i usually type too much... Haha. As the story g...

Re: Breaking up a fight with 2 or 3 dogs

I wish i had been a member on here when i needed this information....although most of it i don't think would have worked too well for me. My dogs rarely feel pain, as for the comment about 'Diamond? I had a similar problem, and in my opinion when a dog has his mind set there isn't much that will wor...

Re: she keeps running out the door

The only way i taught my dogs to not bolt, was pretty much the same way Amie did. If they try barge through the door as i open it i push them back, close the door and make them stay COMPLETELY still (and i mean so still that it tortures the poor souls) until i am out the door, or have it open fully,...

I feed neither, of the list. We feed them tripe, raw liver and a working dog food.

Re: What's wrong with my nose PBF?

I'd probably agree with the crate comment, my dog Cody always tries to dig his way out, or chew him way out and he always ends up looking like this... http://i49.tinypic.com/2jc9gy0.jpg Because he uses his nose before his brain.... I only first noticed it when we had him in the back yard, he had spe...
