Google fly-strike... Good info but not really what I'm looking for. Mostly what I found tells you how to prevent fly-strike, which isn't an issue because he now lives inside. Just wondered if anyone had any experience with the dryness and had any tips. Or any experience with an ointment that worked...

Help with a foster's crusty ears
I've had a foster dog, Chuck, for about a month now. He clearly lived outside on a chain before he was rescued. The edges of his ears are still dry and crusty. They don't seem to bother him, they just aren't that pleasant to pet. Is there any kind of cream or ointment that I could but on them to hel...
