Re: Bug Eating?

Rhys loves bugs too. They're fun for him to chase, and I don't have to worry about getting rid of them myself, so I let him have at it :P
he especially likes stink bugs, flies, and lightning bugs.

Re: Nature's Variety Instinct Duck Meal & Turkey Meal

I just picked up bag also for our morning meals. Rhys gets kibble in the morning and I think I've FINALLY found something that agrees with him!! lol. I can't really say anything about it yet since this is only the second day of his breakfast being all Instinct kibble. He seems to tolerate it much be...

Re: Has anyone tried this?

seems like it works through evaporation- might not be best for us in humid areas. Anyone use it in humid areas? its like 50-100% humidity here all summer. I gotta get to work on moving asap. cant handle this east coast weather.

Re: Has anyone tried this?

Do these work well even in humid conditions? I'd love to get something to help keep Rhys cool on walks, its getting sooooo humid here lately!

Re: Kibble help

I'm feeding Nature's Variety Instinct kibble and supplementing with a raw meal (currently getting kibble in AM, raw in PM). I tried TOTW but for some reason it didnt seem to agree with Rhys. The Natures Variety seems to suit him better, stable stools and less gas. I was thinking of trying the Prairi...

Canicross Belt?

I am looking for a canicross belt to start running with Rhys more often. My problem is the ones that I want are so expensive! I LOVE the Skijor Now belt but is super expensive. I know that when I was looking at harness so many small businesses and one-person businesses made such wonderful collars I ...

Re: Skinny Dog

Would you ever consider adding in a raw meal now and then? Rhys was pretty skinny and had loose stool on TOTW (was feeding about 4 cups a day, he is a 55lb ideal wt.) and I started feeding him a chicken quarter with skin ON at night (along with any other raw bits I had laying around) instead of the ...

Re: Pics of raw fed dog teeth

Rhys always got compliments from the vet on his teeth, but I always bought knuckle bones (and more recently soup bones) for him to chew. I'm really trying to figure out how to make raw work, I really want to switch him to raw. Stupid money...

Re: Biking with your bully

I really liked how stable the bike to leash is - my aussie gets an adrenaline rush every time a vehicle passes by and though I don't lose control with the walkydog I do wobble a bit. With the Bike Tow leash all I feel is him speeding up, no feeling of him yanking to the kerb at all. There is a lot ...

Re: Feeding a lot of food... still skinny

Thanks guys! Yeah, the old vet who Rhys hated said he looked excellent before he put on his 3 lbs after I got him. He's leveled out now at what the pictures show and I think he looks perfect, but new vet said he needed more, though the dog trainer and everyone else (except my family) said he looks p...
