Re: Local Pet Stores

I really only have one that is my favorite.

I am located in Loxahatchee, FL.

The feed store by my house is my favorite local pet store. They have pretty much everything from animals a-z.

Re: The vet almost killed Ivy yesterday.

WOW that is crazy. I just had my pups ears cropped as well. But I didnt have preoblems like that. I went to another vet other than my regular. And he told me his office has chosen not to do anesthesia through IV anymore because of the risk of what happened to you. My baby was given a gas anesthetic....

Re: Help with my pups pad :(

@Fransterdoo You gave great instructions in my opinion. I just kinda wanted the OP to know that neosporin can not be licked. So it has to be wrapped. If they dont go your route I just wanted to make them aware of more options. Only because not everyone always has the same resources. But that is why ...

Re: Help with my pups pad :(

@Fransterdoo Good post!!! I agree with everything you said. I disagree with the neosporin only if staydubbin is planning on keeping it unwrapped. If not than by all means. I called my vet before using anything on any animals paws in the past and h ehas told me if I am leaving it unwrapped do not use...

Re: Help with my pups pad :(

Call the feed store. They should carry a supplement that is used on horses. It is an antibiotic kinda like neosporin for us. My cat had a burn on his foot from jumping on my glass top stove and I called my local feed store and they told me to come in and get it. We used it and it healed very well. I...

Re: Allergy relief? Severe itching...

When I posted my thread another member replied to me with: Yep my boy has pretty bad allergies but thankfully not like yours! UGH. What a nightmare...I feel for you. I too add fish oil and vit E (obviously that won't work for you). I feed a fish based food as well again, won't work for you. I will s...

Re: Allergy relief? Severe itching...

@Pitsnok @Wegoband Allergies with my 4 year old pitty are really bad as well. His vet gives him cortisone shots when he has a flare up. Prednisone and cephalexin. (Cephalexin is an antibiotic also known as keflex. It is a broad spectrum antibiotic. @Wegoband) We were feeding him Orijen but then we f...
