She's beautiful I wish I had room but I guess that doesn't help. I sure hope you help her find a new home

Re: I didn't find poop ANYWHERE

Did he come out of a kennel situation? We got him from the shelter if that's what your asking. On that note he was only at the shelter for 10 days before we adopted him. But the thing it's different each time. One time he'll sniff it then eat it. Another time he'll sniff it then leave it alone. One...

Re: BARCS WAIVES ALL ADOPTION FEES!!!

That is absolutely wonderful to hear. There are so many awesome dogs there , lots of cats too. ( not a fan but they also need good homes) @Amie I was wondering about advertising for this great promotion how are you guys getting the word out... Re: Too Feed or Not too Feed!!!..

If you don't include those training rewards in his overall total, he'll start getting too pudgy - those calories count too! Now I know not to over feed him but lets say.. what is the right amount in the overall total? I want him to eat and not still be hungry but feel high energy and not to full to...

Re: Too Feed or Not too Feed!!!..

Yum! You'll probably want to give less dog kibble with the meal that has the cooked food in it. It's all calories and feeding the extra adds in extra calories and will end up putting on extra weight(depending on how much he's getting) :) Yeah that makes good sense. He only gets 2 1/2 cups a day 1 1...

Too Feed or Not too Feed!!!..

Ok first I have to say I checked the forum and I did not find the answer I'm searching for so I'm posting this diet question to get some feed back. I'll start with saying I've only been a dog owner for 2 months and some change. So when I went to vote on my food brand in that thread, all I knew is br...

Are all these dogs at BARCS? Because on the site not all the dogs have photos, they all are beautiful. I sure hope they find great homes.

Re: Dusty is a sweet playful girl! (BARCS)

Hello Maegan. Dusty looks like shes a great dog. The bottom picture looks similar to my Porky, who I adopted from BARCS in late April. Even know I don't have the room for another dog I do check the BARCS website often. We were also taken by Milano (I think that's the right spelling) but it doesn't s...

Re: Fire works

My older female has issues with fireworks, gun shots and thunderstorms. She panicks, pants heavily, and shakes (entire body) We use rescue remedy and a thundershirt - http://www.thundershirt.com . We also keep all of our dogs inside with windows closed, they usually hang out in the basement when we...

Re: Two Weeks! Give em a break! :0 )

Yes it makes perfect sense and he's the only dog, my buddy Pork. He only had 2 sessions of treatment one overnight a month ago and last one this pasted weekend. We didn't know he had it for the first 2 weeks. I guess the long wait was more in account of my childhood dream of getting a puppy came tru...
