Re: Need a new prong - Bud is sensitive too his PetSmart one

My friends dog was pretty DA and he came across another dog that was DA as well. The prong being the only equipment on the dogs neck did not help the situation. Re: Need a new prong - Bud is sensitive too his PetSmart one

I think using a prong collar on our breed is a bad idea. Pitbulls have a high tolerance for pain and if anything a prong collar would just annoy the heck out them. Buy a harness and spend more time training.

Re: Dog Park Socialization

Sebb, Glad to see another person from DFW. Lewisville is actually not that far from where I am, but the Irving location is really closer. Hope the best for Koda and his anxiety issues.

Dog Park Socialization

Forgive me if this topic has been discussed before. While I know in older dogs it is not a good idea to take your dogs to a dog park because of the risk factor, but what about puppies in the 16-20 week range? Is it still as much a risk while they are that young? Can I safely introduce my pup to othe...

Glad to be here.

I am not very good at intros, so I am going to give it a shot. I've recently rescued a young pup ( Logan ). He's become the family mascot and loves my girls. I've got special plans for this little guy and as soon as he is big enough he will become my running buddy. Hopefully being a member on here w...
