One Room of the House

My 15 week old puppy is SO GOOD about housebreaking for the most part. Seriously, I haven't cleaned up an accident in ages, except for one room of the house. We have a room that we currently use for storage. When we babysat a friend's dog over the summer, she would go potty in that room as well. Moo...

Re: Submission Potty..

Thanks for the response.

Usually, Moose's tail stops wagging, but he doesn't tuck it. He sort of freezes, sometimes lowers his body, sometimes just stands stock still. He breathes more heavily, and gives me this look like, "You have this under control, right?"

Re: OFFICIAL ear cropping/tail docking debate thread

Moose loves having his ears stroked... If I cropped them, he would be SO deprived! Hehe.

Activism?

How do you find out about potential pit bull laws before they are passed? How did you all start getting active?

Re: Mental Games?

Moose adores the muffin game. I have one of those pans for two-bite muffins, and i put shot glass sized dixie cups (I think they make them for mouth wash) in the hole things. I fill the cups with various weights, like coffee beans or rice. It makes the game a little trickier for him.

Submission Potty..

There is a busy park a couple blocks from my house. I take Moose for walks there a few times a week because there are tons of people and dogs on leashes. It's a nice way to socialize him, since everyone wants to pet cute puppies. Sometimes, when he meets another dog, particularly a much larger one, ...

Re: Bedwetting

I'm not at all opposed to getting up in the middle of the night to walk him or getting up early in the morning to walk him again. I just didn't know if it was normal for them to need to pee in the middle of the night when they have empty bladders and wanted to make sure it wasn't indicative of a hea...

Bedwetting

My 7 week old puppy is a bed-wetter! I walk him every night before bedtime, but he's had 2 accidents. I know puppies have tiny bladders, but is it normal for them to go potty in the middle of the night?

Fleas and Babies

My 7 week old puppy has some nasty fleas. His vet gave him an oral flea medicine, but obviously he's too little for Frontline and most shampoos. Are there any shampoos that are puppy safe and effective at getting rid of fleas? Other than flea-combing him every 5 minutes like I have been, is there an...

Hey, thanks for responding. I was a little unsure about what exactly to say about myself, so here goes take 2.... I'm Cotton (yes, that's my real name), and I live in Georgia. I'm 21, and I'm an aspiring artist who waits tables on the side. I've always thought pits were gorgeous dogs, and the discri...
