Re: Stopped crate training at 3 1/2 months.

It's not only the housebreaking but I would be concerned about chewing and getting into potentially dangerous stuff at that age. Your dog might not potty in your house but don't be upset if you come home and find lots of things destroyed especially when teething time comes and the adult teeth are co...

What can he do?

Well we had an incident tonight. Nothing serious thankfully! He took peaches out to pee. He ran with her out to the cornfield and she was offleash. Well she suddenly just took off running across the field. No amount of him yelling or calling her was working. Finally I stepped out to see what all the...

Re: poop scoopers

I just use the corn field roflmao I live in the country and there's a corn field right behind us. We take her out to do her duty there. Even when playing fetch when she has to poop mid play she grabs her ball and runs out in to the corn field to poop then comes running right back. The guy says he pl...

Re: Sleeping in crate? or bed?.

Do you have a crate in your room? You could make it extra comfy with blankets and bedding and leave the door open. They might wander in and start napping in it as well. If you could get the puppy to nap in there with the door open it's a slow start. I can guarantee it won't be an overnight thing. I'...

Re: Sleeping in crate? or bed?.

I believe every dog should be able to be in a crate and be ok. Because sometimes in life we end up having to put them in one either in an emergency or for something else. If you were to leave her at the vet she would have to sit in a cage there. My little dog is crate trained. I haven't put him in a...

Re: making kibble yummy

My little dog gets a heart pill in the morning and a half an aspirin at night for his joints so I have to put something in his food to hide the pill. Plus he just won't eat unless you do. My pit bull she'll eat her food dry or with stuff in it. She's not fussy at all...she lives to eat. For my littl...

What is your feeding routine and how much time do you spend?

I realized today while making breakfast for the dogs that it's my longest chore of the day. Mealtimes. I put their kibble in their bowls and heat up some canned food to put in it. My little dog has pills I have to mix in as well to get him to eat it. Then I feed them in their spots and have to stand...

Re: Is this something to be cautious of?

It's just people when they come over to visit..or play games with the other half on the computers. She has her ears up and she wags her tail constantly at them. When she's watching it's an alert look on her. Her ears are up and she follows them with her eyes constantly. You can see her head turning ...

He found a home. She was informed of the ban before but still got this puppy anyways. I found that out recently. I'm glad he found a home and won't be euthanized!

Is this something to be cautious of?

I never really thought about it before but someone brought up barking on a different post. My girl doesn't bark. She just lifts her head and looks at everything. I noticed she is very watchful. She will keep her eyes on people who don't live here. She also sticks by my side after they pet her. She w...

Re: Friend needs to re-home her lab\pit mix asap due to ban

He looks just like one. Big blocky head and pit face. Otherwise they were just going to say he was a lab but that gives it away. :(

Friend needs to re-home her lab\pit mix asap due to ban

My friend is desperately seeking a home for her 1 year old lab/pit mix. The cops showed up at her house today and told her they will be back to take him and euth him. She didn't know they were banned there. So she's desperately seeking a home for him. She doesn't want to send him to the pound as it ...

Re: Question on a certain collar....

Someone PM'd me a site that has the ones I was looking for. It's http://www.nizmosk9supply.com/ and it's under the 2" ones. It's the black with hot pink. They have some nice collars on their site...kinda spendy on some tho.

Re: Question on a certain collar....

Yes it's like the ones at still water. But it was darker pink in the middle. Although I do like the ones that stillwater has...might go that route. Same thing only a little lighter pink :)
