Re: Looking for Measurements and Clothes Testers!!!!!

I wanted to post an apology for how long this is taking me. My boyfriend and I have decided to split up, and since we were together so long it's comparable to a divorce. I haven't had time to do anything, much less work on a new project. I'm thankful that I haven't had to make a whole bunch of beds ...

Re: Selling Dog Beds?

Sorry I've been busy guys. Haven't been on lately. For those who are interested, I'm working on getting a site up and running. It's under construction, and not nearly finished, but the site is http://www.pawsitivelypetbeds.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I'll update here as soon a...

Re: Selling Dog Beds?

I wish!!! I do have a fabric though that holds up really really well to diggers. It's like a grey and black snake skin type strong stretchy fabric. Bailey is a defiante digger, and dug the crap out of the first bed I made her. She also grabbed it with her teeth and tried to rip it and couldn't. GRAN...

Re: Selling Dog Beds?

Mmmmm, not really sure about Canada. Would just depend on how much the buyer wants to pay for shipping, and if there is anything special I have to do to send out of country.

Re: Selling Dog Beds?

So I dragged my bed(the largest I make) up to the post office today.... a Whopping sixty bucks as is. HOWEVER, I've decided to vacuum seal the beds so I can fit them in a smaller package, which will bring shipping down to around $15. Also, buyers who are willing to send the vacuum bags back in an al...

Re: Looking for Measurements and Clothes Testers!!!!!

Thanks for the replies guys! I have a few beds to make, but inbetween or right after I'll get to work on those. I'm also up for suggestions as to what owners are looking for in doggie wear. Style, color, accessories, materials, etc. Also, the same 20% of profits from the clothes will be going to res...

Looking for Measurements and Clothes Testers!!!!!

I'm going to start making Doggie clothes as well as beds. At least at first they are going to be the same outline style as below: http://www.poshpuppyboutique.com/product_p/rj-71236.htm I'm looking for a few people to be testers for my clothes. I'm going to make 3-4 testers outfits, send them out, a...

Re: Selling Dog Beds?

Things have been crazy here.... I haven't had a chance to figure out shipping costs. I have a whole bunch of fabrics to choose from, so if you are interested, send me a PM and I can link you the fabrics I have(unless you want to supply your own fabric of course). I'll try my best to make it to a pos...

This bed is 43in x 33in AFTER sewing. It's really big, and will probably be big enough for Bailey, my dane, when she's full grown(she's 12 weeks old in the pictures). My bully(weighs around 70lbs) slept on it almost the entire night last night and he was dwarfed by the bed. The bottom of the bed is ...

I've decided to go ahead and start making beds  I'll have pictures up when I get a chance, but here's a rundown on how they are made: My husband manages a store that custom-makes high end leather furniture. I'll be buying Fiber fill, breather cloth, and padding from them. The fiber filling...

If I do decide to go this route, I'll definately have pictures up for everyone so they can see how they look. As far as price, I'd be selling them for less than most pet stores. Basically trying to save everyone money and help rescues at the same time. I'm not looking to make a fortune or anything l...

Selling Dog Beds?

I make my dogs their dog beds because if you go out and buy one they can get pretty expensive. I've thought about making dog beds and selling them, then giving a percentage of profits to a rescue. My only concern is the cost of supplies needed vs. the demand and marketability of such a product. I've...

No, the first vet was an emergency overnight clinic(I think they just rape people anyways). The second vet is my old vet a few hours away. They are great and are much more worried about the animals than the money. When should I know she is in the clear? She's just starting on day five from first ons...
