Re: Bad digestive track possibly?

I had the problem with my boy and after 2 years of trying to narrow down his problems he was bad on mixed meat kibbles and anything besides chicken. Each dog is different, but have you thought of going grain free? the Blue Buffalo Wilderness is the one I finally found that worked with my dog. I just...

Re: Our Vet Visit came up with an issue.

Yeah we are switching to blue buffalo. We bought some yesterday, and mixed a little with her other kibble, and I gave her a few peices as treats on our run this morning, and she loved it. So I have a feeling she will do well with it. did you go with the Wilderness? If you are thinking of going raw ...

Re: Our Vet Visit came up with an issue.

I had my vet tell me to put my boy on a diet and then 3 months later tell me maybe he could gain a pound or two. Jeesh make you your mind dude!! I agree with everyone above, as long as your dog is acting normal and doesn't get too tired easy or what not I would keep her like she is. But get her on s...

Re: Healthy House Cleaning (Long but food for thought)

thanks for the ideas and the links, I also heard vinegar. The thing is though, I thought Borax was poisonous to animals? (case in point when my grams had an ant problem I sprinkled it around and the ants died pretty fast, if you use it as a cleaner, and its supposed to be sweet smelling, couldn't th...

Re: Hi There :)

Awesome!! Can't wait to hear how the weight pulling goes. My boy kept wanting to eat the jug so I never really pursued it lol. He loves to fetch and tug so he is good with that. Nice score on the harness! Yeah my friend feels terrible but hopefully his story helps someone. Glad you understand the w...

Re: Greetings from Tonka in Minnesota

Hey I ahd the same issues with arrivals with my boy, a quick fix was making sure he always had a ball nearby, whenever he would get mouthy, I pop the ball in his mouth and he would bite down on that. Tennis balls have fuzz they can rip off so I use the chuck it LARGE balls for my boy. now he is neve...

Re: Hi There :)

beautiful boy! You can start getting him used to a harness (you will need to buy another when he is grown so I would look for a used one for now craigslist, etc) don't work him too hard until he is older and you can tie things like a milk jug with some rocks to get him used to dragging something. A ...

Re: Meet My Beautiful Sidekick, Roxy :)

You have a cute pup there. I hope that you don't get charged one day by an off leash dog starting trouble because you may lose her. Your dog would be the one blamed when she was just defending herself, or you if she thought you were in danger. Do yourself and the breed a favor and always walk with y...
