Re: Another dog death blamed on dog treats...

Sorry, did you guys miss the entire "pink slime" thing last month? Made in the USA doesn't mean much. Just look at what corporations are putting in people food. Ya think dog food is going to be better? It is probably safest to look for European, canadian or US made treats that are made by...

Re: Biking with your bully

Well, it is not just an hassle, it is a safety issue. In case something was to happen, like a loose not super friendly dog approaching yours...good luck keeping everyone safe at the same time. If you were to bike one dog at a time in a reasonably safe area that would be wiser, imo.I know that some ...

Re: Biking with your bully

Bike riding will tire a dog out 5 times faster than just walking them. In an hour, I can get my dog unwound. It would take all afternoon of hiking/walking to get the same results. Lucky you, I ended up buying a quad years back to keep up with some of my dogs. you think this could work with two smal...

Re: Biking with your bully

you think this could work with two small dogs and one medium size dog? There thing is in my city is not very bike friendly..Meaning, there are not even bike lanes!, so i would have to do this in a park or in another city like Calexico, but i would love to this someday..I hardly use my bike now, sinc...

Re: Kirkland dog food/heads up

I too know many a dog doing/did great on Pedigree and junk can foods. I got one 4 pound bag of puppy food and 15 cans of tripe and other meat can foods at the holistic dog food store on Sat, bill was $84.00, no treats, not one chew or toy. I went to another store for the chews and treats and spent ...

Re: Achilles bit at dog park

I think you are taking their advice as an attack when everyone just trying to help you. You are not the only one who has been through a similar situation in dog parks and most the time the result of the sceneario has been the same..The pitbull and its owner are to blame, sad but true. Glad your dog ...

Re: Fiona getting spayed

Aw that is much sadder than just a spay! :( Nope... not sad at all... Thats 6 less dogs that won't be born, only to die because there aren't enough homes for them. So much better to do it now. True, i would have been sadder knowing i couldnt take care of them as puppies, and not find good homes for...
