Re: Does your rescue/shelter offer sales?

i know some lower their prices on special dates like valentines day, which i feel it goes against giving a dog in that time of the year is a bad idea, but maybe it works the other way around.

The local rescue does not offer sales whatsoever, i think they should once in a while.

Re: Another dog death blamed on dog treats...

Sorry, did you guys miss the entire "pink slime" thing last month? Made in the USA doesn't mean much. Just look at what corporations are putting in people food. Ya think dog food is going to be better? It is probably safest to look for European, canadian or US made treats that are made by...

Re: Kirkland dog food/heads up

I too know many a dog doing/did great on Pedigree and junk can foods. I got one 4 pound bag of puppy food and 15 cans of tripe and other meat can foods at the holistic dog food store on Sat, bill was $84.00, no treats, not one chew or toy. I went to another store for the chews and treats and spent ...

Glad your dog ...

Re: Fiona getting spayed

Aw that is much sadder than just a spay! :( Nope... not sad at all... Thats 6 less dogs that won't be born, only to die because there aren't enough homes for them. So much better to do it now. True, i would have been sadder knowing i couldnt take care of them as puppies, and not find good homes for...
