Re: Bagels

I love asiago and honey wheat bagels with a passion.
But i dont give gim much, just a small piece occasionally. So im not worried about him gaining weight. And so far his stomach seems to be fine so ill let him enjoy his bagels.

Bagels

I recently started working at a bagel factory and i get lots of free bagels. Well, Rocco loves them- ill usually give him a small pjece iff im eating a plain one, or wheat. Are there any health concerns i should worry about? I have no problem not giving him any but since he loves em i usually oblige...

Made a flirt pole last night

And I wore Rocco out with it just now. My question is, does anyone have any tips on helping me teach him to "drop it"?

Re: Thanks to natural ears, Rocco looks like he's fought.

So far today it's only bled a little bit, and that was this morning. How it looks as of a few minutes ago... http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i284/t1msnahoodie/IMG_0447.jpg http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i284/t1msnahoodie/IMG_0448.jpg And because I too think he's a very handsome dog (thanks for ...

Re: anyone have issues with snow?

When it first snowed we took Rocco out and played with him off leash in it and he loves it. It kinda bugs him out though because he can't smell everything and when it gets up his nose, he gets all weird... It makes me laugh except when I've been standing there for 10 minutes waiting for him to poop ...

Re: Thanks to natural ears, Rocco looks like he's fought.

Where can I find Co-Flex? I think that's what I'm going to have to do because it has been over a month now actually, his ear infection was before xmas and tonight (last night) his ear bled about 6 different times over the course of 4 hours.

Thanks to natural ears, Rocco looks like he's fought.

A few weeks ago, Rocco had an ear infection. It took a few days to get him into the vet, and in that time frame he shook enough that he tore the tips of his dumbo sized ears open. They didn't bleed bad, but they bled enough to get on everything when he shook, including his head, neck and chest. His ...

Re: Healthy treats for an allergic dog

No environmental changes, we adopted him last August and he had some bumps on him then but I didn't think much of it at the time. The lady we got him from was feeding him a sensitive stomach food, so we switched him because he hated it. But we went from one cheap food to another, so I'm hoping that ...

Re: Healthy treats for an allergic dog

No I don't, if his reactions don't clear up within 3 months I'm supposed to bring him back and they'll do more testing and skin scrapings. I had been feeding him ride with his dog chow but I stopped that a week or so before going to the vet. I'm not sure if that was it or not but he hasn't had it in...

Healthy treats for an allergic dog

We just switched Rocco over to Merrick food because 1)I didn't realize just how crappy Dog Chow is, and 2) the vet said he's having an allergic reaction (chewing his paws, bumps on his skin, red around his eyes) that is most likely related to the food. Right now he has a bag of Science Diet treats t...

Re: face mouthing/biting

When I got him, he jumped on any and everyone. I've broken him of that-except my roommate occasionally undermines me and let's him jump on him, so I just try to keep Rocco away from him entirely-and he doesn't really jump as much as he just lunges. Like I said, its only when you get down close to fa...

Re: face mouthing/biting

I usually do make him sit when meeting new people but occasionally he's too excited to listen to me for long, so I will try to work harder on that. I've gotten to the point where I do tell people to not get in his face because he doesn't like it, but last week at the vet, the assitatnt go on her kne...

face mouthing/biting

When I got Rocco, he had a few bad habits, which we've broken him of. One though, doesn't happen often and I'm not sure how to remedy it. He really only does this with new people... He did it to me once, not too long after we got him, and me yelling at him and putting him in his crate was enough of ...
