Re: CCL repair walking video - Feedback wanted

She looks great! Martin sends her love and kisses (and says he is oh SO happy that he had his legs done before that water therapy thing, he would have died) Those first weeks post surgery are so stressful, but she is doing great!

Re: OMG! Don't let Pat Cook get an Aussie!

Not afraid of HER, just strangers. She doesn't do a shut down and it would take a dog of a very specific temperament to take that kind of change, new people, new dogs, new place, no bond with new handler and not be stressed out in some way. May be why she is having trouble finding 'that' dog. I find...

Treatment is LONG. I have 7 demo pups right now, all in varying stages of treatment.

Re: OMG! Don't let Pat Cook get an Aussie!

Meh, he's coming back (not that I mind, I missed his little speckled butt) Oddly enough, he passed ALL her criteria (gets along great with her pack, is smart as a whip, easy to train, never gets tired, loves to work, work, work) BUT he is scared of new people now? NOT how he was here AT ALL. Submiss...

Re: OMG! Don't let Pat Cook get an Aussie!

Pretty damn freaking awesome! She is VERY particular though in what will work for her, so we will see if he can pass muster. If not, well, he's having a pretty fine adventure roflmao

Re: OMG! Don't let Pat Cook get an Aussie!

Funny story, Pat Cook just took Happy for a trial to see if he works out with her household. Cross your fingers for the little doof ball, maybe we will be seeing him High in Trial next.

Ouch, rough! Are you on the Yahoo Ortho discussion group? If not, look them up! Conservative Management, along with proper exercises, is definitely a route you can explore.
Good luck!

Gorgeous, sweet, 1 yr. male DOCK DOG

Super sweet, 1 year old male Pit mix (possibly some Catahoula back in the gene pool, looks pit bull, but is Merle) Awesome dog. He's a natural dock diver. If you are competing or ever WANTED to compete, in Splash Dogs or Dock Dogs, he's your boy!! I competed with him twice this week, and he is alrea...

Re: Hiro has heartworms. :(

This is the tough part! They start feeling better and wanting to play. Just be sure to keep it up, no matter how good she looks or acts. Are you doing the staggered injections? I noticed you mentioned Doxy, so I'm assuming your vet is following the newer protocol of Doxy, first injection, then the s...

So scary!!! That is a dramatic seizure too. How is he doing? How old is Nero again? Are you using Trifexis? I hope the Phenobarb continues to help him, poor baby.

Re: Vi broke a tooth :(

Poor Vi! Cheer up though! I have three dogs here and, together, they have a TOTAL of 2 upper canines between them, lol. Martin has one, Nikki has one, Mysti has none. Uppers are MUCH more noticeable, but you can't even tell.

Re: Trifexis -- how's it working out for you?

BT trances appear to be like slow motion, trance like. This is not that for sure. He is peppy and running or trotting around, then frozen in place like a statue for like 30 seconds, then totally normal.
