Re: Biking issues

I forgot to mention that we replaced his collar with a harness.
He makes sudden "I dont wanna" stops and we dont want to strangle him or something.

Here is the leash:

Re: Biking issues

Quite late update: I bought a biking leash. It does not attach to the wheel, but under the saddle somehow. Has a metal part, covered with a soft protective material, and a mobile part, 2 leashes 1 elastic 1 rigid. The rash came back :( But luckily this time we were quicker in reaction and we started...

Re: My gross dog and his self-consuming issues

Hello The patch is exactly on his shoulder, not neck, so we can't fit the collar. Unless we make some sort of harness or collar half of his body including his front legs. We did try the usual collar, but it's not much use considering the position. We will ask this doctor too about collecting a sampl...

My gross dog and his self-consuming issues

As I mentioned about 1 months ago my dog had a skin problem with a very surprising and quick evolution. Started off like this: http://i26.tinypic.com/30sd3zl.jpg We had antibiotics and plenty of betadine, antihistamine and um..I don't know the name of that thing that is used to clean up and goes whi...

Re: Canine Alzeheimer?

Thanks guys Ayax is 9 and looks and behaves like he was still 3 year old. Very energetic, happy, remembers stuff well, even learns new things with ease. But just in case, I want to know what to expect and how to approach :) I was thinking....could this be a real base of those myths about certain bre...

Canine Alzeheimer?

I was browsing the pages of an online pet store. I figured that since Ayax is 9 years old, perhaps I should consider switching on senior-type food. There was a type of food that is supposed to help prevent a sort of canine Alzeheimer / senile syndrom? Apparently it has the same mechanism with humans...

Re: Best "stop scratching" tips?

Ayax is fine, almost completely recovered and...rude! roflmao He tried several times picking stuff from the table, whereas before the treatment and the diet he would not have been interested in that too much. Perhaps the vegan regime sharpened his appetite a bit. He was switched on his normal food a...

Re: Best "stop scratching" tips?

Ayax has almost completely healed. The place is now almost clean, except few bits on the edges, it's clean and...bald :/ 2 quick questions, if possible: 1. You consider it would be alright to give him a bath? He's quite stinky .... 2. If I give him a bath, I should avoid cleaning with shampoo around...

Re: Best "stop scratching" tips?

He's recovering, we will work from home in turns to supervise him. Wound has started to grow some sort of crust which is great The anti-histamine (spelling?) pills kicked in meaning his itching has diminished He started antibiotics today too. We're quite broke (financially) after this experience but...

Re: Best "stop scratching" tips?

Hello the tank top would stick , I have a very petite frame. Anyway, today it kind of looked better I mean at least it started to solidify (is that even a word) We searched for vegan kibble everywhere apparently Royal Canin produces it but I guess it's not popular at all since we could not find it a...
