Re: B.A.R.F. 101

I guess I need to buy a book. I read where some people just feed raw chickens, raw meaty bones, some people talking about grinding everything up, people adding veggies, people not adding veggies, adding Kelp. Seems like so many people do so many different things. I'm going to order the "Give yo...

Re: B.A.R.F. 101

Yep he goes to vet at least every 6 months and I voiced my concerns to him and they said his teeth looked fine. He has always been like that though, even as a puppy. I am a nurse, and thinking of how humans have evolved over the years... our ancestors who just went and killed a cow and dug their pot...

Re: Something Odd in Snows Behavior

Wow! where is this local behaviorist?? MY yorkie/mix has serious issues. He doesn't like anybody or any other animals besides the ones he has been raised with. I worry about him much more than Tug being aggressive.

I am also considering BARF but still haven't decided which will be best. I will research more but what are your thoughts ...

Re: Something Odd in Snows Behavior

I have a yorkie/mix dog that is skiddish and even I can pick up something that he hasn't seen or familiar with and he will cower down and act uneasy and I have had my dog inside all his life and I know he has never been mistreated. It just his nature to be scared of things. I would hope that it was ...

Re: Breaking up a fight with 2 or 3 dogs

I walk my 3 dogs almost every day on leash. I have 2 yorkie mix and my Pit/Cur 73lb mix. Recently a neighbors dog who looks to have a bit of Pit in him walked up to my dog. I had seen this dog numerous times and he had never seemed aggressive so I thought he was just going to smell, check my dog out...

Re: No-Pull Harness

are there any problems with chaffing with the EZ walk harness?? I have a nylon harness for Tug but noticed the other day it had rubbed him red under his front leg, but it doesn't fit like the EZ walk harness it is just the standard kind of harness. It seems to be too short through his chest area and...
