Re: When should i switch 2 adult kibbel ?

I always hear that a year is the switching point. Whenever you do it, make sure to do a slow transition to the new food.

Re: Does anyone use the Walky Dog

I use it for my dog and love it! I also use a back up leash. She has a harness with both a back and front leash attachment ring, so I put the walky dog on her back ring and the leash on her front ring.

Rust proof tie out?

I got a simple dog tie out for letting Lacey outside to go potty, and the clamp on it has rusted and is hard to open & shut now. Do any of you know of a good tie out that won't rust? It doesn't need to be anything super heavy duty or fancy. Thanks!

Re: Dirty Petco?

The Petco near me has clean products, shelves, etc...but the small animal cages are always really filthy and I've seen a dead hamster/mouse/rat every time I've been there! I prefer to not go to Petco.

Remember the basic grooming supplies, too: nail clippers, dog toothpaste, shampoo, brush.

Re: Biking with your bully

I'm very excited to give biking a try with Lacey! My cousin has recently started biking with her collie mix and using one of the WalkyDog bike attachments for it...on Friday I am going to her house and Lacey is gonna give it a go. :) If all goes well, I will certainly get one for myself! BTW, tried...

Re: Can exercising a young dog be dangerous?

Primarily, I don't like to see a puppy doing enforced running. A puppy free playing in an open area is great, that is what they are meant to do. A puppy going for a 5-mile jog on leash, not a good idea. My own choice will always be to err to the side of caution, you will hopefully have many years w...

High impact activities aren't good for growing bones, and very hard on the joints.

Lacey is almost a year old (July 10 is her birthday).

No...certainly not. I am only asking so I will do what's best for my dog. After reading MANY different resources, I make a decision for myself. You don't have to be so rude about it.

Can exercising a young dog be dangerous?

I have heard from a few people online now that exercising a young dog in the form of having him/her run is dangerous to their growth. Is this true?

A giant cat teaser for dogs?

I had never heard of a flirt pole before joining this forum, and I have become curious about them. To me, they look like giant cat teasers for dogs. I've seen the photos and videos people have posted on here, and it looks like the dogs really enjoy it. I was reminded of it today when I dragged Lacey...
