Eating habits

My younger dog (the hound/pit) seems to rather eat her food here and there, but I feed her twice a day (morning and night) so I pick up her dish after giving her about an hour and a half to eat, yet I noticed if I give her meat or rice mixed with her food shell eat it completely. Does anyone know an...

Inexpensive dog toys?

Does anyone know any good inexpensive dog toys?

Re: Testing a dog with cats

Thank you for posting this. It's really helpful! My pit is like the second dog you presented. He has a lot of interest in my brothers cat but you can still redirect him. My brother (who is't a fan of the dog) says how he's so cat aggressive... as I try to explain it isn't aggression, he's just intere...

Re: Playing behavior, whatcha think?

Possibly just rough players? Some dogs play rougher then others. My two dogs are crazy, and the sounds that come out of my hound. You think someone is killing her! Lol. My pit also makes weird sounds while playing, but nothing compared to my little girl. First day I brought home Bandit my brother ca...

Re: CGC

If that was the case, my Pit may pass it but neither would my Mum's German Shepherd (He's dog aggressive) or my own hound mix. My hound was a rescued abuse case at the RISPCA. She lived her first four months in a crate with her siblings and mum, so she didn't have much human interaction. She is extr...

Hello! I'm new to the forums!

What's up? I'm Amanda. I live in RI. I have a house full of animals, including an American Pit Bull terrier and two other doggies. I grew up with one (Didn't own him, was a family friend) and knew the Pit bull type dogs before the hype. I ended up working with them in shelters and I fell even more i...
