Have you had him checked for parasites? This causes many dogs to not be able to gain weight. Adding canned food rather than dry helps dogs gain weight. It's higher in calories and such. We added canned food for a long while and it seemed to help a little bit, we'll go back to adding it And yes, he'...

That being said, he twitches all the time and doesn't digest correctly and metabolizes too quickly to keep weight on....

I'm the ONLY one allowed to get my dogs riled up to the point of being crazy. If they happen to hurt me it's my own dang fault.If they hurt someone else it's my own dang fault. Even the people they live with aren't allowed to rile them up to crazy-ness.

I'm not sure what it is. But a client's dog startled loosing hair like that and it turned out to be a thyroid condition.
