You can give Gatoraide or Vitamin water or Poweraide. All work the same as it does for humans.

it's always worked for me. I give them generally about 4 tablespoons at a time and hold their mouth closed until i see a reaction and generally the action happens a few seconds later. I've done it three times. :dunno:

Ok. I just got back from my pet store. I'm currently feeding Canidae because of financial issues. Now I'm back in the game and so I went to pick up some new food. I went ahead and picked up the Taste of the Wild brand. In my store it costs $40 for a 30lb bag. It costs $51 for a 33lb bag of TW Ocean ...

After I finish this current bag of Canidae I think i'm gonna try this food next. It's cheaper than both TW and Innova EVO and the ingredients look just as good or better than either. It's called Taste of the Wild . http://tasteofthewildpetfood.com/ Guaranteed Analysis from the High Prairie formula: ...

My dogs did fine with EVO. Feed it. If you don't have any problems then you shouldn't have anything to complain about or concern yourself with what other people say.

We deal with so many ticks that I've lost my squimishness about pulling them off the dog. I still get totally grossed out having to remove one from myself. On a daily basis I generally find 3-4 ticks crawling around on Olive and remove 1-2 that are attached. And we use Frontline. :frown: The worst ...

My dad used to put canola or vegetable oil or crisco shortening on ticks to get them off his gsd. Worked every time. Do not do this, same problem as I mentioned above. Yes, these methods get the tick to back out, but they increase the risk of transmitting diseases from the tick to the dog. Well, I'...
