My vet recently told me that my male pit cooper needed to be switched to an expensive hypoallergenic food because of his ears and anal gland issues. He said that when theres "ears and rears" usually it's an allergy and he needs a food that's hypoallergenic.Any input would be greatly apprec...

I would never use a pointer but she was a rescue. It doesn't explain why she just started doing it though. It does seem like an OCD issue though. I hate to think about medicating her though. Thanx for the responses guy's

chasing shadows

My 18mo. amstaff female has been chasing shadows relentlessly in the evenings. I'm not sure what to do or why she's doing it .My 4yr. old male never did this. Shadows and reflections are driving her nutz. Any help or words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated. I hope this isn't a sign that she need...

Thank you for the response. I just found out that the flea medication can be given at 8wks.

What's the best flea prevention for a 7wk. old? A collar for now or start right off with a med? didn't buy anything yet. this is the first puppy this young that i have had. thanx

Snacking in the yard

My female is 8 mo. old and started eating my 4yr. old males butt material. I try to get it cleaned up before she goes out but sometimes we don't find it all. What can we do? I just can't deal with this! Thank you in advance.

I'm from Pa. I'm 41 yrs. old. I like to workout and ride motorcycles. I'm a machinist and I work for a ultrasound manufacturer. My 3yr. old Cooper was a rescue from Kentucky and I just rescued Bella close to home. Ive had dogs all my life and don't know what it would be like without them.
