Re: Stuffed Kong on raw diet?

I can understand if your dogs lose interest in a kong and the filling may sit there to leave out raw meats. However, using your same yogurt, veggies, PB frozen mix will be fine. I put my Kongs in the dishwasher to disinfect them as well.....

Re: dogs been dripping blood through penis all month.

Atleast the OP took his pet to not only one vet for medical attention but a second one for a second opinion and presumably in hopes he may have had a better chance of a relationship with them. The way I see it he did his best. The financial challenges of owning a pet can be a gamble at best when sit...

Re: Any tips to promote skin health?

I am also going through skin issues with my dog. His allergies would get so out of control he would flare up in huge secondary infections. Hives and red itchy-ness all over his body, to the point where touching him at all made him scratch like a fiend. I believe I have found a food which makes him t...

Re: Hind end awareness - I'm just not getting it

That's Awesome RED!! Thank you for asking this question RR, i too have been having trouble. I definitely think I am doing it wrong and that my luring isn't making it any better. ugh. Will me trying to lure her incorrectly ruin what i am trying to teach? Or will it just take longer for her to get it ...

Re: Trick ideas please!

Take a bow, cover your eyes. Wave Bambina knows touch commands as I'm trying to get her to do sequenced flying touches so it looks like I am bouncing her like a ball!!! Lol! Another thought would be to teach stop drop and roll on a fire command and teaching putting something in a basket for recyclin...

Re: Diesel will NOT play with toys!

You said that the Doxie plays well. Is she overwhelming him? Or do you play with them separately? Just thinking because you said he was so submissive if your other dog could be making him nervous.... Playing treat seek and find games can help to boost a dogs confidence maybe if you paired finding a ...

Re: Holy Cow! the clicker works!!!

You are looking for an obedient dog are you not? lol. Finding a trainer is about finding someone who you are comfortable with and works well with you and your dog. Having a strong obedience base I don't think has ever hurt anyone. If you enjoy using the clicker then finding a trainer who uses positi...

Don't lose faith. Puppies will be puppies.
I agree with all of the above baseline training and enough physical/mental stimulation will allow you to at least take the edge off of his naughty games.

Re: Can we make this a trend?

I have seen this all over FB and think it seems like a great idea. The only way to let people know what you mean is by educating them. No some people might not understand what you are trying to convey by tying a ribbon to your dog's leash, however if you tell them what it means it might lesson the l...
