Re: Recall, Kirkland and Taste of the Wild

AT LEAST PEOPLE FEED THEIR DOGS,, Im feeding my dog a bad quality food but she couldnt be happier :goodpost: I couldn't agree more! Shelly has been super happy with Kirkland, and shes just fine on Nutra Nugge...

Re: Recall, Kirkland and Taste of the Wild

When I got my dog, I had a job, and Kirkland came HIGHLY recommended. Since then I became unemployed but I've always been able to feed my dog since Kirkland wasn't very expensive, and she did amazingly well on it. I would be even worse of a pet owner if I just ditched my dog because I cant feed her ...

Re: Recall, Kirkland and Taste of the Wild

I cant believe how many people are STILL going to feed food made by a company that has had several recalls. That has killed/sickened pets http://www.truthaboutpetfood.com/articles/the-plot-thickens-clues-to-big-issues.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; And if there has been animal ...

Re: Recall, Kirkland and Taste of the Wild

Check your bags anyway!!! There was one lady already in cali that has a bag matching the codes... Sent from my HTC using Tapatalk Well, the bag shes on is more then half gone and not a single issue, so it can't be bad. I do need to buy another bag soon though, and I will make sure to check that one.

Re: Gaining Weight

Well I'm happy to report that with slightly less food and a little more exercise, shes slowly loosing weight. Got her down by a pound now. The fun part will be trying to find a good balance once i get her down a few pounds so she doesn't gain it all back lol

Re: Gaining Weight

im not familiar with food costs down there, here everything is pretty expensive (even the brands made here :po: ), pretty much ever 30lb bag of decent kibble is 60-80 bucks :S I wouldnt add anything because you run the risk of making her fussy and refusing any kibble without stuff added to it. Ah g...

Re: Gaining Weight

have you tried different brands of food? my Grendel is the same way with a lot of foods, he doesnt care to eat it much, but we tried a bunch of different kinds and finally found one he loves and eats with gusto. Sadly on my budget, I can't afford anything better. I don't think there really is anyth...

Re: Gaining Weight

An adult dog who puts on 13 pounds would be either obese, or the dog would have been very underweight before. Yeah, that's like a 150lb human gaining 45lb (going to almost 200lb) in two months. Well must have been scale error then. She did gain weight tho. Wish I knew how much.. This is why I love ...

Re: Gaining Weight

Ime, a lot of times a dog who doesn't show that much interest in eating is being overfed - generally, not always. From the photos I would take a few pounds off of her. Well i can honestly say that isnt the case with her. Shes been this way from the first day i met her when she came in off the stree...

Re: Gaining Weight

My 2 cents, for what it's worth - sounds like a combo of just her maturing and filling out plus a little extra chub. Not a ton - she isn't what I would call fat - but you could cut back on food a smidge and she wouldn't starve or anything. If you are fretting over cutting back her food, try putting...

Re: Gaining Weight

How long should the pipe be? Also for learning purposes, why is it better to feed twice a day instead of 1 time? Shes been fed once a day her whole life with me. I also sleep in late, so its always worked out perfect that way, and a huge majority of my friends all feed once a day. So whats the benif...

Re: Gaining Weight

Jumping for toys is different, this is a chase drive. She likes to play fetch right? So there very well could be a decent amount of prey drive in there. (which for the most part is what flirt pole is "activating" .. not the best term but it works.) Or it could just be a retrieval urge. Wi...
