Re: Is Cash Underweight?

I don't want to say he is carrying extra weight because I feel that might imply his food could/should be cut to some degree. For what I am assuming is a laid back house dog, he looks good to me. If he were to lose any weight but retain his current physique... He would be what I call "skinny-fat...

Re: Roommate thinks I shouldn't be segregating my pit

I misunderstood the "punishes him over 10 minutes" to mean he is in the act of punishing him for 10 minutes straight. Regardless, hitting a dog is inappropriate and on a routine basis such as you describe is absolutely abuse that needs to be reported. I think you might be hung up on... Or...

Re: Roommate thinks I shouldn't be segregating my pit

What should I say to him if he starts telling me I am messed up to leave Duke locked up? He says he lets him out because he feels bad for him.

Tell him, "Duke is my dog. Not yours. F*ck off"

Re: Roommate thinks I shouldn't be segregating my pit

Invest in a breakstick, a padlock, and if necessary- an exterior lock for your bedroom.

Stupid roommates suck, but you MUST put your foot down NOW or you will end up with an injured dog... Or worse, a dead one.

Re: At my wits end!!

Unfortunately in our county tethering is illegal so thats not an option but I will definitely be doing the standing in one spot till he goes. Hillsborough County right? They just had a vote on re-doing the tethering ordinance. It passed but will not go into effect for 2 years and still allows tethe...

Re: Injuries sustained from weight pulling?

Just wondering, the dog with back issues, why would they make the dog pull if he/she had back issues? Probably the same reason people set out to title 9 month old puppies (In the ADBA, unsure of the age restrictions with other organizations). As others have stated, I have personally not witnessed a...

Re: Need help putting weight on Kahne

A roach back? Is that something I need to worry about? He of course has been to the vet for check ups but they never said anything about his back? No, it just means there is a bit of a curve to the shape of his spine. It's normal. He looks to be at a good weight. Lean with some muscle definition an...
