6 months old I would get her done, before her first season. Once hormones kick in the risk for mammary tumours and pyometra (infection of the uterus, usually fatal) significantly increases. Once the hormones are taken away and the uterus you can't get pyo obv and the rock of mammary tumours go down....

Especially seeing as in thr UK it is now illegal for your dog to be intimidating and it can be destroyed for doing so. Which is ridiculous as it is the person being intimidated that decides what behaviour is classed as intimidating, ugh this country is getting worse with its dogs. Sent from my GT-I9...

Aww thank you. He really is my world. I just really wish he would just behave. All in all in the last month I paid £2600, I am now officially broke. So Frank my 8 month old boy has been fitting. My vet decided to refer him to a neurologist. He went yesterday and stayed over night. I missed him! He had one more fit and I had to give diazepam. Poor boy. He hasn't had anymore yet. The vet is reluctant yo give phenobarb (epiphen) as they are very bad for the liver and with him being young she would rather wait. I totally agree. I hate when people bring in majorly overweight dogs that are in their senior years and decline bloodwork before an.op. If their pet didn't make it through the anesthetic i know they would be straight on to blaming us...
