Re: Patterdale anyone?

Looks like he would be perfect for the Gremlin.

Her report card comes home on Thursday, if she has straight A's, her dad owes her a dog. She has 3 B's and 2 A's on her mid period report.

Her father is very scared.

Re: Raw venison??

My dog gets her venison when we trick or treat. Every year one of our neighbors gives her a big hunk of steak as her "treat" at the door, then gives her the rest of last years' deer from his freezer. This year she wore a pumpkin costume which they all thought was hysterically funny, especi...

Re: Hello from Connecticut!

Where in CT are you?

I am near Waterbury. My pit bull is my service dog as well as a therapy dog. You are welcome to come follow us around for a day, especially on Wednesdays when we go do visits at a local nursing home.

Re: I'm going to be sick.

Don't wait. Get a second opinion. Go see a specialist.

Hugs

I'll pull a picture down & print it for Gremlin to put in her doggie shrine. She likes to have pictures of the dogs she includes in her prayers.

Re: Taste of the Wild

I feed TOTW to Birdie. She gets about 1 cup a day with 1/2 can of soft food. She likes the salmon formula the best. I also like the Fromm kibble as well. Birdie LOVES the surf & turf.

Birdie is a little porker right now, so I'm trying to pull some weight off of her.

Before we lost Petey, I used to use a powdered sunscreen on him. The lotions and sprays were a real pain to get on him and he wouldn't cooperate with me. I found this powdered mineral sunblock that was the bomb. It's meant for humans to dust on their skin, but it worked great on the dog when I used ...

I put ours in the top rack of the dishwasher and pull them out before the heat cycle.

Or you can have your misbehaving children scrub them to death in a sink full of soap hot water with anti bacterial dish soap in it.

My dog Birdie has the most ridiculous sensitive skin ever. What makes it worse is that she needs frequent baths because we do therapy visits. I have found a dog soap that I worship. Even when I've needed to bathe her twice a week, it doesn't affect her. As a matter of fact, her fur is nicer, she sme...

Make sure you check each applicant through the name database at www.pet-abuse.com. If they've been cited or convicted of a crime related to an animal, they'll be in there.

I put my Petey on Timberwolf Dog food at the age of 7-1/2 years old. He had eaten Pedigree and Old Roy up to this point. He looked like hell for almost 10 months. Shed like a damned golden retriever, some dog dandruff, but no itching. A little over a year after we switched, we noticed all the "...
