I remember Brandy! Pumpkin's an Underdog too (2005)

Nala looks a lot like Eve and Nero, both of them were adopted. We just admitted Nala on Saturday. She's a beautiful little thing! 55 pounds or so. You wanna meet her? :)

Help with leash walking

My 70 pound foster boy does pretty well walking on leash as far as loose leash walking goes. However, we are still having an issue with exhuberant, enthusiasic pulling when he sees another dog (or sometimes a person). He is extremely friendly, not aggressive, and greets other dogs very politely (sav...

Passive Aggressive?

Has anyone heard of a dog being passive aggressive? If so, can you give me info or point me to some links? I ask because my foster pittie lays down when he sees another dog who he wants to play with. He's belly up and relaxed, which looks submissive to me. However, someone just made a comment about ...

Personally, I think pitties have the cutest, expressive ears. My dog's flop everywhere, stand up, move around. They are her best feature! While I like the look of cropped ears and would have no issues rescuing a pittie in need who had cropped ears, I just couldn't ever bring myself to do them to my ...

Constant Barking Outside

We are city people, so our 4 year old rescue is always inside except on walks with us. When we go to the suburbs to visit parents, we will often sit outside in the backyard together, by the pool. Pumpkin will bark nonstop while out there with us. It's her playful bark and she wants us to chase her a...

Shady in need of rescue

This has been cross-posted from The Nest. What can I say, Shady is yet another older wonderful, mellow loving dog whose people moved and left her behind. This dog KNOWS her people betrayed her. She is so sad, so dejected. She sits and hangs her head, as if she thinks it is her own fault that they le...

England BSL

Hi, Thank you! I would like to know what areas are affected and exactly what breeds have been targeted (just pits/mixes, or dobermans, rotts, etc.) When did these laws pass? And are there bans or restrictions? (Like are you forbidden to own these breeds or do you have special requirements such as $$...
