Re: Transporting puppies 8 months and under to CANADA - LAW INFO

You can't take pit bulls into the Province of Ontario as they are banned there. You shouldn't have a problem with other Provinces - just dome cities have BSL.

Re: allergies and staph infections oh joy...

I've been dealing with my dogs allergies for many years now. We've done the steriods and she's gotten a liver infection twice now from being on them so we now have to treat her holistically only. I have found that Zyrtec works better than Benadryl and is safe to use in dogs according to my vet. My 6...

Re: Dozer's Hives (@ the Dr now)

I would defiantely try to determine what he is allergic to and try to control it either holistically or with allergy pills. We adopted Muay 4 years ago and she's always had allergies to many foods, but also has environmental allergies. We used to keep them under control by using prednisone until thi...

Her eyes definately look like Boston Terrier or Pug and her nose is on the shorter side so I'd say pit mixed with one of the two.

She is soooo adorable! The part of the video with the cat attacking her is hilarious. You can really see how small she is compared to the cat.

She's adorable and for a dog that is so sick, she looks pretty sparky!

Geez thanks for reminding me that I have some of this in my cupboard and could be using it when I bake all my dog treats. I didn't really notice a difference in my dogs when I was feeding it to them, but it does smell wonderful and is great in baking.

Depending on what type of meat my dogs eat, sometimes they poop once or twice.

Real Aloe Vera Gel is very safe to use on dogs, but it has to be the natural stuff, not cosmetic.

This is the product I use: http://www.lilyofthedesert.com/

Apple Cider Vinegar will kill bacteria almost right away, but you have to use the stuff with mother in it, such as Bragg ( http://www.bragg.com ). It killed the yeast in Muay's feet almost instantly. If you are going to put it on broken skin, I would suggest mixing it 50/50 with water. Aloe vera gel...

If the water is cold dogs can sometimes get broken tail. The muscles in the tail sort of freeze and will be painful. Can last up to two weeks. Muay got it last summer when we were on vacation and she was swimming and wouldn't get out of the water.

I feed raw so Tucker eats beef, chicken and tripe in the same week. Unfortunately due to Muay's allergies she only can eat buffalo, moose, goat and tripe but mostly she eats buffalo. She doesn't seem to mind eating the same thing every day.

I've dealt with many allergies with my dog Muay. She has had numerous skin infections from scratching herself to the point where it is raw. So over the past year, we have kept her on one protein source, of course I feed raw food so it's a little different, but I would suggest that you feed a high qu...
