Re: Dublin Dog Collars

Yeah, doesn't chelsea00133 on the forum here make custom biothane equipment? Yes I do :) I saw some biothane collars recently. I think they even make them up to 1.5 inches wide. Maybe EliteK9, SignatureK9 or Ray Allen. I have 1.5" biothane, also. At the moment I only have black on hand, but I ...

Re: Dublin Dog Collars

I've never used a Dublin collar personally, but I've seen one break just a few weeks ago at work. Owner came in with the dog on leash (young male Lab) and the dog lunged at a dog he saw across the room, and the collar snapped. The material ripped and the buckle came off, leaving the collar hanging ...

Re: Does anyone use the Walky Dog

I use the Walky dog, I really like it. I do the same as Libby, I have the walky dog attached to a harness on the dog, and a leash attached to the collar(flat buckle collar) on the dog, which I hold in my hand. :)

http://kuranda.com/ My sister uses this for her dog, because she de-stuffs and destroys any regular beds. It's holding up great :)

Re: Dog boots for in the pool.

I bring my dad's dog in the pool sometimes, I taught him where the ladder was and how to get in and out, and so far we have had no issues with nails ripping the liner. He never goes near the edges, he knows the ladder is the only place to get out. Have you tried those rubber nail caps? Just an idea,...

Re: Long Lines

I will get some pictures tomorrow of all the sizes of biothane I have together so you can see the difference. I use Heavy weight for almost everything, I only get light weight in some of the smaller sizes. I prefer the heavy weight for better handling, except for my 3/8" biothane lead, which is...

ewwies wrote:what colors are available in 5/8" and 3/4"?

Off the top of my head... Black, brown, blue, green, red, and orange. Probably a couple more, but I'd have to check. If you are interested in a specific color, just let me know and I can ask my supplier if it is available :)

Re: Long Lines

I use 3/8" for my dog's drag line, but I wanted something LIGHT. For a stronger line on a reactive dog, I would use 5/8", or maybe 3/4". Stitching is used mostly on biothane, because the strength of biothane comes from the inner webbing, and punching a hole through it for a rivet/scre...

Re: Fleas And Snow =/=

Do what? 0o; Comfortis goes into the bloodstream. Fleas have to bite the dog to get the poison. Snow is allergic to Flea Saliva. 0o I am completely confused about your posting please explain. I meant, with Comfortis the flea bites the dog to injest the drug and then dies. With a topical, the flea h...

Re: Fleas And Snow =/=

Comfortis works great for flea allergies, IME. They do have to bite, for the drug to work, but it kills them VERY quickly. My dad's dog has flea bite allergies, and Comfortis has worked better for him than any of the topical preventatives we tried previously (Frontline Plus, Advantage, etc)

Re: Has anyone tried this brand of dog food?

There is nothing actually wrong with Blue. I loved it and the energy it was giving my dogs. But I cannot afford it. I went a head and bout the rolled version of the food (one) for training treats and snows 'find your treat' games. I am also going to use it to help me leash train Koi. I just moved o...

Re: Unchewable Harnesses?

My biothane gear holds up pretty well to chewing. I wouldn't say it's chewproof, but it's not as easy to chew through as nylon or leather, and they don't seem to like the taste. My facebook page- www.facebook.com/CustomCanineCollars
