strange walking puppy

My puppy is 14 weeks old and walks quite strange. When he's running around he seems to bounce on his two front legs at the same time. When he's walking slow he's fine. Somebody mentioned it looks similar to ataxia. This has now got me paranoid now and I'm hoping it's not this illness. You can see th...

Re: how many of you have dogs that fight ?

Shoshana, yes he has had his jabs. He needs to be fleed soon. But he's not over scratching, so if he does have any atall, he's not riddled lol

Re: how many of you have dogs that fight ?

Thanks to everybody that have given me some useful answers so far.

Nickdawg, cheers for the link in your post. It gave me a better insight.

The way people were saying things before, it sounded like pitbulls could never live with other dogs.

how many of you have dogs that fight ?

As you will see from my posting number, I'm new here. People have been telling me that my 7 month old pit WILL start a fight with my other cross breed dog. I fully appreciate the fact that they can become aggressive over items that they feel are worth protecting . So I leave absolutely nothing in th...

Re: dog fouling in house

I appreciate that these dogs have the potential to pick a fight at any time. However, I cannot see why this breed of dog can't get along with other dogs if brought up correctly. Which is why I'm here to learn how to bring him up correctly. I just need to realise why he does certain things. Is it jus...

Re: dog fouling in house

Hi curly, thanks for the post. I did not solely get my new dog just to keep my other dog company. I got him for myself first and her second for company. It's not like I just went and got her something I didn't want lol. They are in a room that's in my house and it measures 8 x 9 foot. They are not i...

dog fouling in house

Hi everyone , I have looked on the site but can't find an exact answer for my dilemma . I have owned a 1.5 year old cross breed for a year and recently adopted another dog to keep her company. My new dog is called Jake , he's a 7 month old black pit. The owners who had him before me didn't really te...

Re: hi everybody

Thanks for the advice. Well here's a little more about myself I'm 28 years of age and live in the UK. I do not want to disclose which area but as you can tell from my username, I am Welsh . I have lived in the UK all my life and live with my girlfriend, and we've been together for nearly 8 years. My...

Re: hi everybody

Hi Curly,

Thanks for the reply.
I wasn't sure how it worked here. I need to post a topic in the behaviour section but as you know, I can't.
Is it suitable for me to post it in here to try and get a response as I can't seem to find the answer to my dilemma .

Cheers

Re: hi everybody

Can anybody explain how this works please. I know I have to make an introduction but nobody is replying so I can't make any other posts. Is this correct ? If so, how am I supposed to learn if I can't make any posts in different sections.

Cheers

hi everybody

Hi everyone, I would just like to give a quick introduction about myself. I'm 28 years of age and have recently taken in a 6 month old black pitbull boy. I've never owned a pit before but have always appreciated the breed. My two previous dogs were rottweilers and before that I had a staffordshire b...
