Re: Fly bitten (help!)

Vaseline will help, but my fave is SWAT (for horses). Spray body, SWAT ears.

T, which of the Glyco formulas are you using? I'm going with one of those when I finish up my bottle of other stuff.

Re: Ms Kitty had surgery today...

so... Kitty has mast cell cancer. He said it's grade II, and that it was completely removed with a margin of .3 cm At this point, she's ok... just need to watch for re-occuring tumor or any new bumps.

Re: Ms Kitty had surgery today...

She's acting as if nothing happened too! When I got home last night she was tearing all over the yard with a ball, jumping, running. Basically doing everything she shouldn't be. :)

Re: Ms Kitty had surgery today...

Seemed fine... she's not really even limping. I'll see if she's sore tonight. I did give her a Rimadyl last night just to help her have a good night sleep.

Ms Kitty had surgery today...

She's had a small (pencil eraser) lump on her rib/shoulder area... and last week it opened up. The vet wanted to take it off, so we did that today. It's a HUGE suture line... I understand the need for cutting everything out that they can, but man. he's no plastic surgeon! So, please send all your &q...

Re: can you correct a bite (ie overshot/undershot jaw)?

People have pulled certain teeth... Puppies go through major bite changes around 4-5 months. That's also when the ears can go wonky... Keep in mind, overbites (unless severe, parrot mouth) usually correct themselves or are slight. Once a dog goes under, it's very very unlikely it will correct to sci...

Re: Cheapest grain free foods

If you have access to Costco, they're carrying Nature's Domain fish and sweet potato. I've been using it for a couple of months now. $27.95 for 35 lbs.

Re: OFFICIAL ear cropping/tail docking debate thread

Misskiwi, thanks for sharing. That's awful, made me upset and sad for everyone involved.

I've always been surprised when people crop 8-10 week old pups. I have done all of mine at 12, one at 13, and one at 16 weeks. The 12 week old pups were 19, 22 and 23 lbs.

Ugh. That sucks.
