Re: Hello from Hawaii!

Is the dog food too hard for her? My last baby I cooked for. He loved chicken mixed with rice (he liked the chicken more than rice and would pick chicken out first and eat rice last). I boil rice with a finely chopped carrot (enough to last for 4 meals). I would cook it in homemade chicken broth. It...

Re: Newbie from SoCal

What a big difference from the first photo to the second photo where its obvious how confident and happy she is. In the first photo she looks like "is it okay I'm here", and in the second photo she is "this is my home". She is a beautiful girl! God bless you, your family, and you...

Re: Hello!!! I'm about to adopt and have a few questions.

I have done a lot of reading and think perhaps a pit bull is not a great choice for me. I'm a little sad right now. The girl at the humane society is very cute, very playfull, submissive, and according to their temperment test, she is good with other dogs and shows no signs of agression to dogs. All...

Of course, you would still need to separate them when you can't superv...

Re: Hello!!! I'm about to adopt and have a few questions.

If you aren't willing to consider the possibility that you might have to eventually crate and rotate two dogs, I would discourage you from getting a Pitbull (or any terrier breed for that matter). I want them both close to me, not one locked up while the other is free. I don't want to worry they wi...

Hello!!! I'm about to adopt and have a few questions.

There is a beautiful pit bull at the humane society I am about to adopt, she is a year old, and I have some questions. I've always had a dog, and can train using treats. My concern is that I have decided I want to have 2 dogs. I did a LOT of reading on line, and some websites say that pit bull perso...
