Re: Pee triggering + eating paper and clothes

Hi there, thanks for the reply. The pee is the worse part as i want him to be around guests and its really impossible. If everyone ignores him, sometimes he does not pee. But even after an hour, if someone pets him on the head or such... the other problem is no problem for his health, he does not ea...

Pee triggering + eating paper and clothes

Hi all! My baby is now 1 year old, time goes by fast! :run: As he grew, many behaviour problems got better and some got worse. The main problem now is him beeing excited to a point he pees. What triggers it is: 1- being scared of an objet or something he doesnt understand. Example: bought him a plas...

Re: good excitement vs bad excitement

Exactly! Good point! I read a lot of articles just on that, redirecting his atention.

Did not receive the clicker yet (china new year i guess...)

I am looking forward to receive and start training him. I praise him but like you say, its not a clear message sometimes.

thank you for your post

Re: PeePoop out of control

Ok, i understand now the importance of it.

For me it just bothers me to see such a energetic animal, in a small space...

i will think about it and see if i invest in it or not.

but i understand. will do more research on the topic

Re: PeePoop out of control

Maybe the lesson from this is that he shouldn't be free in a room, unsupervised, for four hours. My girl can get into trouble in 2 minutes, I think you should be thankful that all you're doing is cleaning up poo! I dont believe in crate training. It does not make sense to me although i know its pra...

Re: PeePoop out of control

Must be patient... must be patient... Must be patient... must be patient... Must be patient... must be pa...

Re: Is this something i should worry? DOMINANCE

I am using the ignore method and it seems to work for Zuki. He gets completly crazy (maybe normal) and does not listen, starts biting and jumping and all that jazz... i leave and close my door. He comes and gets sad to be left out. Same for the beahviour on the couch. He gets crazy and bites me. I h...

Re: PeePoop out of control

Many, many thanks! The main conclusion is that, i am expecting too much. The reason i was getting frustrated was the fact he learns things SO FAST its incredible. He is really smart. He learned to go on designated areas (3) but now he seems to forget some times or do it wrong for some reason. It is ...

i believe that if it was a particular action that will not leave marks versus someone who does that in a consistent maner.

Re: Is this something i should worry? DOMINANCE

I'm with Curly_07 on this one. Its just not right to force your will on punishment.

What will happen when a full grown pitbull, very athletic, has had enough with that sort of treatment?

I do not believe you will be able to stop an enraged pitbull.

Re: Is this something i should worry? DOMINANCE

So if he is almost 8 weeks old now, how old was he when you first brought him home? I brought him home the 03 Feb. The mother was abandoned as pregnant and has lot of skin problems along with others, so the puppys have been took away as soon as possible to prevent further problems. Even so, my litt...
