Re: Moth Eaten Coat

This may sound crazy, but have you tried Benedryl? At least for the skin issues. Knocks out any type of skin bumps/allergies my pits have had.

Re: Torn CCL Sugury-what to expect

Thanks Kingsgurl...I'm in the Manteca area now and the specialist is in Stockton. Any help you can give is great..I'm just looking for ballpark figures so as to have an idea of what I'm getting into.

Re: Torn CCL Sugury-what to expect

I believe my pit has this injury and will require surgery. I'm taking him to a specialist after Christmas and I'm curious as to the cost of the traditional surgery. I do not have the pet insurance (kicking myself now) :po:

Is Nutro still a bad feed?

I know there's been some backlash against this brand but is it still legit?

I've been feeding Baron this for about 2 months and he's been doing well, should I be afraid of the hype?

I stand by Blue. It's a little pricey compared to cheap brands but it's one of the better quality ones, especially at your local pet store.

It's all I feed my 9 month pup Baron.

Re: Didn't see it so for all of the people in Sacramento....

The Sacramento SPCA has a program called "we pay to spay" where pit bulls and pit mixes can be altered for free. http://www.sspca.org while you are there they can be heartworm tested, vacc'd and chipped for an extra fee.. I'm in Manteca, would I have to be a Sac Co. resident for this prog...

Sorry, I only skimmed through some of the pages , but does anyone have any low cost neutering spots for Nor Cal- Manteca, Stockton, or even the Bay Area? I tried the "Friends" site mentioned but they did not have any in my area.

Thanks, I usually get the Blue puppy food, but I had a brain fart that day I guess. It's a small bag so I'll just feed him extra until the bag is gone.

I use Frontline about twice a year and have never had a flea problem. And I lived in Kentucky and now in SoCal, both heavily infested with fleas. Maybe switch your topical meds? I too recommend treating your carpets, also, I've heard that if you cut up a flea collar and put in your vaccum bag or co...
