Re: Moth Eaten Coat

This may sound crazy, but have you tried Benedryl? At least for the skin issues. Knocks out any type of skin bumps/allergies my pits have had.

Hello, I have 2 pitbulls, one neutered and one spayed. Running along the side of my house I have a cement dog run which runs parallell with the fence my neighbor and I share. The neighbors have 2 little 'rat-terrier'-type things that constantly bark when my pitbulls are out there. This instigates my...

Re: Torn CCL Sugury-what to expect

I believe my pit has this injury and will require surgery. I'm taking him to a specialist after Christmas and I'm curious as to the cost of the traditional surgery. I do not have the pet insurance (kicking myself now) :po:

"Scent stakes" do they actually work?

Saw something the other day: A plastic looking stake which goes partially into the ground and, supposedly gives off a scent to make dogs urinate/defecate in a certain area. Anyone seen these things and do they work?

Re: Dog Run: Construction from top to bottom

It's a long area 35 feet by 6.5 feet along the side of my house. The flooring is partial cement/partial dirt. I want to put some type of gate at the end of it. One side as I mentioned is the house, the other side is the fence. I just wonder if the dirt is a good option or if another type of flooring...

I've tried bitter apple as a deterrent when she barks but I need something that will work. Bark Collars?...

Best Material for the floor of a dog run?

Hey all, I just bought a house, have a big yard and am looking at putting in a dog run. I've heard various views on what material to use for the "flooring". Concrete they say is great for cleanup but absorbs the urine and it smells on hot days. Anyone have any ideas that can help me? Thank...
