Buffalo is great for them Grace. And they love it. I would feed more of it but Fat Bastard is allergic :( . I don't know WHY that made me laugh so hard but it did. I think I even snorted once. (aren't I charming) $30 for ONE pound!? I'm gonna stop complaining. I got 1/2lb of ground bison for...

I was reading this thread and was so happy all this info was here... then all of a sudden... peckers. The whole place has gone to hell. This is a very random question that probably no one can answer but I am too damned shy to call Terry Bison Ranch right now. Especially from work. They rai...

Any rescuers with connections to Denver

Since Denver's ban is going back into effect, and people have 60 days to get their Pit Bulls out of Denver (I'm unclear as to whether owners have to give up their dogs... but I believe they do), I just want to put out there that I am available for transports from Denver to parts of Northern Colorado...

Awww. I'm sorry it seems you guys are looking forward to a rather bumpy road for her and her kidneys, but I'm sure she'll thrive with you. She is so lucky to have found you guys, Pat.

CALL him an idiot, he is one. We knew we were going to college when we got Levi, and we knew Levi was coming with us.
Some people. I could smack him.

But the dog is b-e-a-utiful. I soooo have new dog lust. Not puppy lust, I just want another dog. *sigh*

Okay, then it was probably his food and it's just a coincidence that he and I are sick so close in time. I have the "stomach flu". She said it's viral and it's been going around Laramie so between Josh being in class all the time, and me coming in contact with so many people at work, it would not ha...

how transferable are viruses between human and canine?

After going to the Dr. earlier today for some really severe stomach pain, I was told I have a stomach virus. It occured to me that it's possible that's what was wrong with Levi, and the fact that it showed up at the same time we tried Nature's Variety was a coincidence. Does anyone know if viruses l...

He has managed to chip pieces off large marrow bones, so he could probably break these. It's not the same as chicken, where they just crunch the bones up and eat them?

I have to do sooooo much more reading up before I get us into this.

BARFers, can I use these?

I went to the grocery store with the intention of buying some juice for me and a marrow bone for Levi. I ended up also buying 3 packages of beef back ribs because they were super cheap (sale date is tomorrow, so they're in the freezer right now). Is that alright to give Levi? So far the only raw mea...

Wellll we're all recovering. lol Levi seems to have most of it out of his system. He did mess a little in his crate last night, but it was more solid than the other stuff, and there was a lot less of it. He's been off that food for at least 48 hours now, I think. We returned it yesterday, and they j...

I wasn't sure, just because I can picture them saying (and it would be my luck) "Sorry. Not our fault your dog got sick." But we're thinking of going down to Ft. Collins tomorrow and checking. Hell, for that amount, I could get a 40lb bag of canidae and a doggy bed for him to help him recover from t...
