I used to have a link that was basically dog food for dummie

But I don't have it anymore. I've been looking through the stickies, but there is SO much information there, and it's a little above what I'm looking for.

There are some ladies on another board asking about dog food and how to find a good dog food. Help please? Thanks!

Forgive me for not understanding, but what does Petsmart have to do with your dog being sick?

Absolutely. Every owner should know their dog's limits, and if they chew up toys (like mine), no more toys. I do sometimes shudder when I hear everyone on here recommending a stuffed kong in a crate to keep a dog busy. Of course, i realize that not all dogs will destroy one, but mine didn't either,...

of course a red one would be more dangerous, considering a back one is made of tire rubber and a red one isn't. lol The owners of this sick dog should have noticed the shredded kong and thrown it away... Kayrah just bites the tips off lol They're both made of rubber, the black is just sturdier, but...

Any toy can be dangerous when the dog isn't supervised while tearing it apart.

I sincerely hope that Quincy recovers.

For frozen kong, you can seal the bottom with peanut butter, then fill with water with a little bouilon or chicken stock(I use low sodium) put some jerky sticks in it and freeze for about 4 hours. My dogs also like meat flavored baby food mixed with kibble, add some water and freeze that. :thumbsup...

Amyd, I totally see your point. Thats not a bad idea; more toys for a cheaper price. Not a bad idea at all lol. I can't believe I actually got to this point with her. The only toys that last in our house are Kongs. So we buy incredibly cheap toys. I purchase stuffies from rummage sales (I wash them...

The only toys that last in our house are Kongs. So we buy incredibly cheap toys. I purchase stuffies from rummage sales (I wash them first), and buy dog toys from Walmart and the Dollar Store. It makes it a lot less frustrating on my part to not be throwing quite so much money away while still givin...

So crate the pitbull. Either way it goes, they need to be seperated. Put them in different rooms if you aren't comfortable with crating them.

You can protect your dog by starting to train her. Read through this thread http://www.pitbullforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=16101 (got a mouthy pup) And the first thing you need to do is contain your dog. Obviously you can't trust your friends to put her in the house. The lady might not have been mad be...

julie K - Thank you for the advice and i definetly have to start going to some events. And by no means did i ever plan on limiting my training skills to pits. Don't ever go into the military believing that you have a choice in your career. Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. My husband was in the Air Force. He wanted to be an electrician, and his recruiter promised him tech school for that. Instead, he was sent to tech school to install bombs on the pl...
