Re: Advice Please!!

I haven't read all the responses so forgive me if it's already been said - this is your boss, which puts you in a bit of a predicament. IMO, you have a couple of options 1 - you can tell him you don't support it, etc. BUT you risk stepping on his toes / offending him. 2 - (what I would do) if your c...

Sarah I'm so sorry!! I will think of you guys today and send all my positive vibes / karma / energy / prayers / whatever you want to call it.
Hopefully it's nothing too serious. Try not to worry too much (I know...easy to say, not to do).

I don't know too much about kibble anymore as I do a raw diet, but the only things that I think might be questionable (and surely someone else will know more about this than I do) are the potato starch and maybe the oats? I don't think potatoes themselves are that bad but the starch itself might not...

Thanks tbluver - I am only planning on doing the chicken backs for one meal every 2-3 days. He does chew the big bones and is fine with them (although I have to take it away when they get small, for the same reason as these ones). The bones were fairly meaty - at least, there is a huge chunk of meat...

Ugh. So I fed him two, and because I'm so paranoid I held them (2 plastic bags on my hand). The first one was small, and he seemed to do ok with it for the first half, so I put the rest in the bowl. I did praise him calmly when he was eating 'nicely' during the first half. Then he tried to get the s...

Feeding Raw Chicken Backs - help soon please!!!So I've switc

So I've switched Bogart back to a raw diet. Today the guy suggested chicken backs to help offset some of the costs (I have to admit, I was thrilled at the $4 for 8 backs, as opposed to almost $4 for 2 patties). So I want to make sure there's nothing I need to know about first - I'd like to give him ...

I emailed her the other day (a week or two ago?) asking the req's, etc. for the home check, but I don't know if she's been on facebook.

I rely on facebook too much.

I have absolutely no vet skills but I hope her poop gets better soon so you can stop worrying!!!!

On a side note, isn't it odd / sad that we are so into our dogs' poop? I can recite what Bogart's poop looks like on any given day...not something I ever thought I'd be able to (or want to) do lol

Nice dog. However, you have it a bit wrong. If you read one of the posts a bit back, I said EARLY neutering prolongs the period during which the growth plates close, making a dog grow taller than it OTHERWISE would've (and how dogs individually vary). For example, there are dogs that will be too le...
