Re: Top 5 Foods

Purina Pro Plan is the top food of hunting dogs. Why? Because it WORKS, even if it doesn't look pretty on paper to those who are more interested in trends than facts. Re: Opinions on this ingredient list

Part of me says too many grains before the ingredient list, but 25% protein is decent enough and better than most.

What does your dog say?? If you are happy with how your dog looks, then great!! Up to you if the locally sourced is worth the cost.

Re: Who's used Proin?

DES can have some really scary side effects including wiping out the bone marrow; I would definitely consider Proin safer than DES. Yes, this!! Its also not very safe to be handled by humans. Proin can cause some elevated blood pressure, so blood pressure should be checked at your annual exam. My m...

Re: Anyone tried Apoquel? Molly's itchiness hopefully resolv

Choices of drugs for any given dog is a complicated matter - side effects, required effective dose, need for long-term use, and cost all come into play. Prednisone has more side effects than just about any other drug. Its also potent, cheap, and can be effective AND safe at low doses. The key to pre...
