We have a 2 year pit bull mix. Every summer he comes down with an ear infection then skin problems with excessive itching and licking. We take him to the Vet who sends us home with ear drops for yeast infection and antibiotic for bacteria infection. They gave us medicated shampoo as well. They also ...

I hope she doesn't have a problem. I will talk to the Vet tomorrow when I bring the other dog in to get neutered. I would hate to have anything to happened to either one of them. Thanks for all our suggestions I will let you know what happened.

Found a Tick

We went for a walk in the woods on Saturday and Sunday. I got home from work today and was petting the dog and found a tick. I got the tick off and I notice a red mark. My pup was getting bumps also and they were gettting worse so I gave her childrens benedryl and she was fine by the next day. I also put her on Advantage and I haven't had the problem since. The bumps might be hard to see in the pic. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b83/ickysticky74/100_0540.jpg
