Re: Want hair to grow back

I was thinking about trying NuStock? Wonder if that would work? It just smells so bad. Personally, and that is purely my opinion, I think NuStock is garbage. I went through two full jars with one of my dogs, applied religiously and it didn't do anything besides making a huge mess and it didn't grow...

Re: EntirelyPets.com = excellence

I wish I could post the same kind of experience with these guys. :po: Oh man, not so good on your end? No not really. The first time I ordered something I had to wait an extremely long time but I didn't mind because the pricing was good. The second time I expected to wait the same amount of time bu...

Re: Want hair to grow back

Neem oil does help. Get a zinc supplement for dogs. That really helps as well.

Re: tricks for giving medicine

Half a slice of whole wheat bread, spread peanut butter on top, place pill in middle and fold over. Works like a charm.

Re: Fish oil suppliment

Not to highjack the thread but I have a couple of questions. Dexter has been shedding like a freak all summer and has had a really dry coat. I got some awesome organic shampoo and conditioner and have used it a couple of times. It leaves his coat soft for about a month. He's on Kirkland food and I ...

Re: Metacam / Meloxicam experiences?

We recently used Metacam throughout the aftercare for my Huskies growth removal on her belly. She recovered quickly and never had any problems with it. We only used it for 7 days though as per our vets instruction.

do you supplemnt with Vit -E too?

I don't supplement with a straight Vitamin E supplement, no. We give soft boiled eggs and spinach mixed in with the food to add the extra Vitamin E.

Re: Fish oil suppliment

I use Herring oil for my dogs and I usually buy it in bottles of 500ml for 23 dollars. Since you would use about 10 ml for a 60 lbs dog per day, that bottle gives me at least 50 servings, which is about 0.46 cents a day. The dogs are doing great on it and I just have to pour it over their food.

Re: Skin MITE!

I just noticed that you are in Canada as well. You can check this website out: http://www.woodlandnaturalremedies.com/canwebsite/can_home.html Go to "Mange Remedies" and get yourself a bottle of Neem oil. The Neem oil this company is selling is the best I have found out there as it is pure...

Re: Indoor kennels?

I guess it would help if I posted some pictures, duh. The kennel part is 4 feet x 4 feet and a little less than 4 feet high. The dog house is completely removable and has a removable roof for easy cleaning and in case I have to move the whole thing. As you can probably see there are two layers of fe...

Re: Indoor kennels?

Funny that you post this. I just finished building my first one about a week and a half ago for my boy. I am going to make another one for my girl down the road. It is way bigger than a crate and has a full size dog house with removable roof attached to it. I build it out of 2x4x8s, galvanized chain...

Re: Prong on a 6 month old?

I did read the head collar sticky but I'm going to go over it again so I can understand this head collar better. careful with those, a determined dog can get them off pretty quickly... a HUGE x2! What was said earlier about the teach, train and proof was a great suggestion. There is nothing wrong w...
