Re: Protein percentages

You have to determine the % dry matter and then convert it over for both foods to compare. If a dry food is 10% moisture then it is 90% dry matter. If the protein on the bag says 30%, than you do 30 x (100/90) = 33% protein on a dry matter basis. For canned food, say it's 80% moisture, then it is 20...

He likened it to kids growing up (which is ironic because I did too in my previous post). Kids bones don't get messed up from doing all the things they do...he said pups are no different really aside from they growing much faster. i've got an awful lot of limpy, gimpy 15 year olds in my class. Plen...

When you're working with her on ground level like that, you don't want to hold the lead, you want to slip your hand under her collar and pull up a bit, and use your bait under her nose as you pull up a bit. That will get that desired arch, and her leaning slightly forward. I will see if I can video...

I suck at handling dogs...so I don't have much advice and it could be completely wrong lol Try putting your hand in under the collar and grip it pulling upwards and hold the treat under her head. Hard for me to explain, but it will cause her to stand up on her feet and lean forward...that's what I w...

One of my dogs was done on a flat buckle collar, one on a chain slip, and one on a nylon slip. Here's some photos I took of one of the CGC tests I was at. I didn't bring anything extra with me, besides their own leash and collar, the evaluator had it all. The stay (Michelle and Amber) http://i52.pho...

I get mine at tractor supply, it's about $46 out the door here. I fed the prairie one first and everyone did well, then I switched to the pacific stream one because I liked the Salmon formula

Dogs get tape worms from ingesting the flea carrying it. Your dog can get them if the one dog brings fleas over (carrying the tapeworms) and your dog ingests one. Treat the dogs for fleas and tapeworms to be safe.

Welcome Those petition sites IMO don't do crap. It's time to get up and get out there to fight this. Write your emails/letters and make your phone calls now. Show everyone how great your dog(s) is/are. Signing an online petition is not going to help. BabyReba- Miami-Dade was grandfathered in, as the...
