Spay appointment, then my girl went into heat...

So i made the appointment to get my girl spayed. i called about a week and a half ago and scheduled it for this friday, October 26. Sure enough, the next day, she went into heat (second time for her, shes about a year and 4 months old). She's now been in heat for 7-8 days, but im thinking it wouldnt...

Weight pull, kina strange question.

So, yesterday i was playin tug with lucy using a rope that is tied to the front of my car. i let go of the rope to where she was solely pulling on the car and can ALMOST get it rolling on flat ground (im talking a slight nudge from my hand and it started to roll). She is 9 months old and just under ...

interesting topic. I know for sure that all throughout high school i was hands down one of the fastest guys, should have run track and gotton even faster, but i was a soccer player. that's another story. that said, since Lucy has been 4 months old, she has annihilated me. at one point when she was 4...

interesting to see 2 different views on this... I definetly do like her to be in the bed with me, she's nice cuddly and warm, haha. but, when my girl is in town, she wont stay out of the bed which is kind of annoying... Last night i had her sleep on the floor. i woke up to her jumping up into my bed...

Thanks for the compliments and kind words These are more of the thoughts i was having when he mentioned it to me. The alpha status has definetly gotta be upheld first and foremost above all else in my opinion. I think it might be time to stop this. She would NEVER get into my bed for the first few m...

Lucy sleeping in MY bed... lookin for insight

This was something that was brought to my attention by my cousin. He's watching my Lucy for me (9.5 months) this week and he has been extremely happy with her behavior and her overall, she has given him ABOLSOLUTLY no problems at all, and i must say i am very proud of her that she is behaving hersel...

ever since Lucy was a pup, ive always tinkered with her paws, teeth, ears...etc just randomly and often so it's not a big issue when something actually needs to be done with them. i might be preaching to the choir here and/or your dog just doesnt like gettin his nails clipped. as far as sedation goe...

crating her while parties are going on is gonna be the solution to this problem as i cant keep an eye on her 100%. unfortunatly, people dont have the respect or common courtesy to ASK or consider someone elses belongings. i understand the "she's a dog" thing, but F that...its MY dog, and i...

i dont have the answer to your question, but ive often wondered while cooking breakfast whether or not a raw egg in her food would benefit or not. that said, im right with you, i cant afford a pure raw diet. her diet now is completely bagged food (nutro puppy), and her coat is gorgeous and shiny as ...
