Time is running out for this guy before he has to go to the shelter. My friend just cannot keep him. His landlord wants him off the property.

No one can help? I fear his future in the shelter is grim.

My friend doesn't know how old he is and he doesn't have the money to take him to a vet, but he definitely doesn't look more than a year old to me. That's just a guess though. A vet would know better.

Just to update, an email was sent to Spindletop rescue by my friend who found the dog. So far, no response. Thanks to those who suggested contacting that particular rescue. As of right now, the dog is living in my friend's yard. His landlord will not allow him to keep the dog in the house because of...

Help in Houston! Homeless male Pit needs rescue!

A friend of mine found this guy wandering the streets and took him in (we all know Houston isn't a great place for stray pits). He is very friendly, no food aggression issues. Unknown with other dogs and cats, but seems to be very laid back. As yet unnamed. No tags. No reports matching him in terms ...

We'll see. I didn't have the story completely straight and he has NEVER outwardly acted aggressive to people just coming up to him. This is what happened in both cases: He was in the back yard with the owners who adopted him the first time and wanted to play. When they turned around to ignore him, ...

Glad he's OK.

Last Christmas Dez ate an entire chocolate orange ball (about the size of a smallish tennis ball) while we were away one night.

I panicked and called the vet. He advised me to keep an eye on her but that at her weight, she'd probably be fine.

She was fine.

If there is an online link to the story, please post it. Can't wait to follow her progress. If I was dogless, I'd take her in a heartbeat. :inlove:
