I think it's very much a situational question. I've seen way too many really sick dogs kept alive longer with of the 'miracle' of modern medicine because people 'just don't want to let them go'. I hope I'll always have the courage to let my pets go when it's their time. Just because we 'can' doesn't...

i was under the impression that it was bad to mix raw and kibble, because the kibble and raw digest differently ..? i heard it was better off to just feed them one meal with raw and 1 with kibble? The theory is that you should not feed raw bones and kibble at the same time, but boneless meat and or...

I've seen many animals who developed a mass around their microchip, including my own cat. My neighbor's dog developed a permanent scab as well as a mass at the injection shot. Nothing is perfectly safe, you are injecting a foriegn body into your animal, no matter how small. That said, I still microc...

It's impossible to tell the extent of hearing loss without a BAER test. With Brisbee, we THINK he is unilaterally deaf (deaf in one ear) which originally made him appear to be almost completely deaf using all the 'homemade' tests at our vet. As he learned to recognize our voices he appeared to magic...

If you're going to give yogurt, make sure it's whole fat yogurt with no sugar (not flavored). Check out the more 'natural' brand yogurts.
