Veterinary Chiropractor Experiences

I've had mixed response on Chiro, better results from acupuncture, and excellent responses from laser therapy, particularly when performed in conjuction with other rehab. Massage is just as awesome for pets as it is for people! I think they're all worth a try, particularly if other issues (slipped ...

Re: Veterinary Chiropractor Experiences

Thanks for the replies. I've been to this vet twice, the first time strictly for acupuncture, and the second time for chiro and acupuncture. So far I've been really impressed with the results. Before this my cat was in a lot of pain and having trouble moving, now she's racing around my apartment. Or...

Re: Veterinary Chiropractor Experiences

Monte loves his chiro - and he no longer walks sideways :) Look for someone with a large dog sports clientele. Did he have any side effects from it at all, even just temporary ones? The reason I'm asking actually is because I've taken one of my cats for chiro and acupuncture, the first two days aft...

Veterinary Chiropractor Experiences

I did a search but didn't really come up with anything. Has anyone here taken their dogs/cats/other pets to a veterinarian chiropractor? If so, what did you think of the results, and were there any side effects?

Re: Kirkland Brand Dog/Cat Food - Who Makes It?

Kirkland was on the industry wide recall initiated in 2007. One answer I've found and often repeated is that Kirkland is made by Diamond Pet Foods. Diamond has three plants that are located in Northern California, Central Missouri and South Carolina. Thank you! I just looked them up and found that ...

Kirkland Brand Dog/Cat Food - Who Makes It?

I've seen a couple members here post that they use or have used the Kirkland brand dog food, and I'm wondering if anyone knows who it is made by? I can't seem to find the info on the web, and I've had different people give me different answers.

Re: So...I'm freaking out....again

Although I've never had a dog with this issue, I can sympathize with your tendency to freak out whenever something is a bit "off". Just reading your thread made my heart beat a little faster lol

I hope that it turns out to be nothing but a silly little sprain :pray

Pharmaceutical company gives dog owners access to assistance

The article is published by the VIN news service, a membership only (we pay to chat with specialists) veterinary forum. However, I was able to snag you this little tidbit: URL Pharma's phone number to request application for the Patient Assistance Program for dogs who need colchicine is 888-811-842...

Interesting!

Do you have a link to the article? A friend of mine has a Shar Pei with FSF and I'd like to share this info with her.

Counting down to the big day:

I'm sure that Snow's spay will go smoothly, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that the hip X-rays show that everything is ok.

bruno has to have a lump removed, im so worried.

I think there's also a sticky about MCTs that you may find helpful.

Are MCTs common in dogs in general, or do they just seem to be common with pit bulls? It does seem like almost everyone here has dealt with it.

OFFICIAL ear cropping/tail docking debate thread

Ive concluded in my own mind that me personally respect people who get GOOD cropped jobs on their dogs. That means it fits the dogs face and it is done by a professional at the appropriate age and etc. Everyone is entitled to do as they please with there dog, as long as it is appropriate(and legal)...
