Re: Nature's Variety Coupons

Those are good coupons! I wonder if they can be used in Canada?

Re: NDR: Cat with Partial/Focal Seizures

Are focal seizures and partial seizures the same thing, or are they two different type of seizures? I'm pretty sure its two ways of discussing the same thing, I've only discussed them as focal seizures. Focal seizures can be EXTREMELY variable, so I don't see how a partial seizure would/could be di...

Re: NDR: Cat with Partial/Focal Seizures

To keep it short and sweet... the brain can do whatever it wants, whenever it wants... very annoying organ. If the seizures are getting worse, then I would absolutely agree with your vet, although I wouldn't do a low dose, I'd do a normal feline starting dose, with a phenobarbital level 30 days lat...

NDR: Cat with Partial/Focal Seizures

Sorry if I should've posted this in Miscellaneous, I know it's not dog related but I'm hoping for feedback from some of the people on this forum that know a lot about animal health. I've got this cat that if she was a car I'd call her a "lemon". Anything that can happen, does happen, and s...

Re: Veterinary Chiropractor Experiences

Thanks for all the replies everyone, it makes me feel a bit more at ease to hear from others who have used chiro for their pets.

Veterinary Chiropractor Experiences

I've had mixed response on Chiro, better results from acupuncture, and excellent responses from laser therapy, particularly when performed in conjuction with other rehab. Massage is just as awesome for pets as it is for people! I think they're all worth a try, particularly if other issues (slipped ...

Re: Veterinary Chiropractor Experiences

Thanks for the replies. I've been to this vet twice, the first time strictly for acupuncture, and the second time for chiro and acupuncture. So far I've been really impressed with the results. Before this my cat was in a lot of pain and having trouble moving, now she's racing around my apartment. Or...

Re: Veterinary Chiropractor Experiences

Monte loves his chiro - and he no longer walks sideways :) Look for someone with a large dog sports clientele. Did he have any side effects from it at all, even just temporary ones? The reason I'm asking actually is because I've taken one of my cats for chiro and acupuncture, the first two days aft...

Veterinary Chiropractor Experiences

I did a search but didn't really come up with anything. Has anyone here taken their dogs/cats/other pets to a veterinarian chiropractor? If so, what did you think of the results, and were there any side effects?

Re: Kirkland Brand Dog/Cat Food - Who Makes It?

Kirkland was on the industry wide recall initiated in 2007. One answer I've found and often repeated is that Kirkland is made by Diamond Pet Foods. Diamond has three plants that are located in Northern California, Central Missouri and South Carolina. Thank you! I just looked them up and found that ...

Kirkland Brand Dog/Cat Food - Who Makes It?

I've seen a couple members here post that they use or have used the Kirkland brand dog food, and I'm wondering if anyone knows who it is made by? I can't seem to find the info on the web, and I've had different people give me different answers.
