Re: My rescue ( from introduction page, so i can keep upadated)

i would have taken him outside after it happened and praised him if he peed more outside. my male had occasional accidents until he was close to a year old. he would be playing and suddenly pee. sometimes he would pee and run at the same time like a firehouse all over the carpet. it is frustrating, ...

I wanted to add that my dogs are both very itchy with flaky skin (ears and coat) and my female is having anal gland/scooting issues which she never had before...I have no idea if the anal gland issue can be food related?

We've officially switched our dogs to Nature's Variety. I didn't like the new Canidae formula that equaled yellow soft serve in my yard. keep an eye on his weight, 3 cups/day may be a little much for his weight. my puppy actually got a bit tubby on canidae and the vet had to point it out to me  i was feeding too much. once i decreased, he was fine.

every dog is different of course.

veterinarians are having success in dogs using ultram, i am not sure of the dose or the side effects.

my cat was on it and i had to discontinue after the second dose because he bcame extremely lethargic. the cat dose was 1 mg/kg of the injectable form.
