Re: Natural allergy relief for dogs?

I'd be worried about nasal discharge...thats unusual for seasonal allergies....gooey eyes and the feet are not, but the "snot" is :) Stinging nettle and jewel weed are herbal antihistamines. http://vetsbest.com/pdf/VB60SeasonalAllergySupport_3165810243.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);...

Re: Health Issues - Tiara....normal?

They also have a calcium supplement, but you can ju...

Re: Petcurean Go!

Start one thing at a time.
All kibble is returnable, so give a low fat one a try.
If it goes well, coconut oil will help with skin and coat.

Re: Petcurean Go!

I dont think you need a low fiber food per say. I know it can be so frustrating to find the right food. When My Tima was on kibble we went through 20 kibbles. All the vet foods all the commercial foods. Now Tima was a special case ,but dont get frustrated. Look at all the foods youve fed so far. It ...

Re: Cancer Treatment Experiences

The only food studies I know of indicated that a low carb diet for cancer were looking at splenic cancers and other cancers, not specifically osteo. Some cancer cells thrive on carbs and simple sugars.

Re: Petcurean Go!

Unless each poop is tiny, that is too frequent to go to the bathroom. So if it is temporary then the increased fibre is to blame. If is is larger or very soft, hard to pick up and not normalizing with in a few weeks then its not normal. Its not dependant so much on the dog but whether the food is ri...

Re: Petcurean Go!

Pooping that much is a sign of allergy/intolerance and 4x a day is not normal.
Sorry.

Re: Oils supplements

Hemp is no worse than fish oil but not nearly like coconut. Coconut is a medium chain trigyceride so very easy to digest.
Each is better for different things.

Re: TOTW.. No More Venison?!

Out here in BC its elk and llama, and soon bison. bison has seen a 40% increase in price over the last yr, and so now the elk supply is being taxed. Llama is the "new" novel protein and becoming popular, thus harder to get. Venison never seems to have a supply issue here. Note this is base...

I sell it for all my clients who cant do fish based oils. Still 2nd to fish oils but a close 2nd

I've been told by my holistic vet that vit e supplementation IS good to do if doing salmon or fish based oil for better absorption
