Re: Parvo recovery-what can i expect?

Is the breeder covering the cost of her treatment? Parvo can rack up a nice bill.

Re: Doc's going to try dock diving next week! Yay!

This is something I really really really wanna do with the new girl. i need to find something in my area, I don't know of any docks, only piers, so I'm not sure how to go about training for it as yet. She's too small anyway so I've got time. Let us know how Doc takes to it.

Re: OFA X-ray prices?

I thinking getting him checked out prior to anything strenuous is great, but why OFA? He's not a breeding animal, or even a purebred that could bolster a rep of a breeder. A gen practice vet could tell you whether or not he is sound to work.

Re: French Ring

I would love to try decoying, scars be damned, bit I know I'd just giggle way too much, because it looks like a good rush. a decoy would be useless if she is lying on the ground hooting like a deranged owl while a dog shakes her out

Dunno 'bout the shirt status...but Paco Collars has/had super cool "blingdanas" badanas a few years ago. Ruadh and I each have one.

Really awesome stuff, you all must be very proud! :)) Ruadh has been a companion, we dabbled in stuff, but by the time I started really learning about activities his joints were an issue. But he is: 'PR' Juno's Red Rum CGC. okay nit so impressive but I'm still happy...he was shy boy when he w...

I'm so sorry, that is awful news! I'm glad the Fuzzy C-Dog looks happy and sound right now, and that he continues to be so for a very long time. He's one of my fav honorary pit bulls.

I'm curious though, how come she was not spayed during the C-section? (I'm not being critical, I'm just wondering)

Re: Little dog heeling position help

That's part of the problem I run into...in order to reward him, I have to basically touch my toes. As I come down, he leans out.

Should I straighten up as soon as he starts to keel, holding the reward, and then repeat?
