No, her coat doesn't get dry at all. The vet recommended during allergy season we bathe her once a week. But we have some medicated shampoo stuff that we have to allow to sit on her for 5-10 minutes. Oh ok..so you have like a special shampoo then?...I guess that's the difference...you think regular...

Oh, there's also waterless shampoo that people use on dogs..I don't know how effective they are though...

And, there's always doggy cologne lol...but I just rather bathe the dog so that they're clean instead of covering the smell

how often do you bathe your dog? Some dogs just naturally smell worse than others.

If your dog's coat is healthy, you can bathe once every three weeks even if you have a gentle oatmeal based shampoo. I bathe my girl roughtly once a month, sometimes sooner if she gets really dirty.

I only have one pittie..the other dog is a chi and he's quite the gangsta..so he likes his space...or he'll just leave the pittie alone and go lie down somewhere where he's not bothered..he's my old little fart :)

concrete rose..how much garlic would you give the dog? It says on a daily basis? I heard garlic was toxic to dogs in large amounts... the catnip spray sounds like a good idea when going out for local walks though... thanks..that's actually quite useful...
